Mama Petrelli Knows Best

I really have a love-hate relationship with Heroes, but it won me over last night by diving into uncharted territory. This episode was dedicated to the past of Angela aka Mama Petrelli. It turns out that back in 1961, her family moved into a "camp" called Coyote Sands where Dr. Suresh, Mohinder's dad, worked as a scientist studying people with powers. Her family was brought there under the pretense of a cure-- typical. Angela quickly became friends with 3 guys who were also founders of the Company, including a mild romantic stint with the old black guy who died in episode 1 (I believe)! Talk about a flashback. I wasn't hooked to the episode until Angela's younger sister Alice discovered she could control the weather at the camp. Angela had nightmares of Dr. Suresh triggering the destrcution of the entire camp. Heeding her own psychic warning, Angela and the 3 teen boys sneak out after lying to her sister to make her stay put knowing shit is about to go down. After having a short slow dance in a diner, they over hear on the radio that a violent storm suddenly occured nearby. Surprise, lil sis spazed the freak out when Dr. Suresh tried to give her a shot. Wind, Lightning, she runs, he slaps, dad defends, soldiers shoot, she hides... blah blah blah panic & chaos. After which the now orphaned teenagers decide to make "the company" based on Angela's prothetic yet omnious dream.

During this fractured flashback, Angela manages to find an aged, bag lady-esc Alice alive in the camp grounds. Alice believed in her sister so much to actually stay put for 40+ years. Once Angela told the truth about her lie. Alice spazed out again and only calmed when introduced to Peter and knowledge of a family. Despite no longer wanting to kill her relatives, she vanishes after refusing an invitation to civilization with Angela. It's unfortunate that it seems Alice will fade away into the outskirts of plot development because she had a great power. Again, my inner 7 year old believes that power belongs to Storm, but I have to admit it wasn't as offensive as it could have been. I didn't feel like that power was wasted on her. Only 2 more episodes left this season. Did this show get renewed?

Nathan exposed. Superbaby introduced.

I totally spaced on last weeks Heroes, but you didn't miss much. This week Claire saved the Doyle, the puppetmaster, that almost forced her to shoot her mom (which one... I forget). Hiro and Ando went to save Matt Parkman only to discover that he's a baby (or Matt's baby rather-- they don't know that yet). Creepy Thin Guy's plan to set up Matt as a terrorist was thrwarted by Nathan and "rebel." Not to let things go, he starts investigating the Petreli's and with Noah Bennett's help focused on Mama Petreli. She has her sassy bad-ass moment and brings up his past and makes him back off from her.

Creepy Thin Guy
was still angry eventually and pushed Nathan out of a window to expose his ability. Duh, Nathan! You had to stand infront of that window! You couldn't jump-fly into the wall or at least the ledge so it wasn't so obvious? Nathan flies off just in time to rescue Claire just as she got a text from Rebel allerting her to the raid on her house. Sylar finally caught up to his dying dad with the same initial power and sociopathic tendancies and took his twisted hope of using his power to change the world just to see if he can do it. I think we are to believe that this twisted hope is the answer fueling Sylar's journey. Now Sylar is going to become the morally gray hero and is in Creepy Thin Guy's apartment -- to kill him. There will be 2 weeks before the next new episode. Don't be too sad.

This Show Is Boring Without Sylar

Heroes was pretty boring last night. It was basically full of flashbacks/Matt prying into Noah Bennett's mind. All we learned is that Matt is an idiot that basically sent Peter off to make matters worse. Peter ended up shooting creepy thin man in the arm, and Nathan is almost completely on creepy thin man's hit list. Daphne is alive but barely. Mohinder was captured by the hunters, but Peter managed to save Matt. Noah is playing double agent and ultimately aligned with Mama Petreli. Also the world will blow up again... well at least Washington DC... according to Matt's painting. I wonder if this show's ratings will go up or down after the Watchmen comes out.

"Hot N Cold" Should Be Sylar's Theme

Heroes came on last night, and things were pretty predictable/straightforward. Tracy escaped her heat lamp cell just as some Homeland Security chick was about to shut down Nathan's witch-hunt funding. However, she just had to kill a bitch in front of Homeland Security. Now, Nathan has funding-- thanks to sneak hunter guy unlocking Tracy's cell in the first place. Hiro and Ando stopped a wedding. In typical dumbass fashion, he took it as a sign that he can be a hero without powers. Claire helped a no-name boy (who can breathe underwater... lame!) escape from her dad, and her unwillingness to lie to her mom resulted in marriage separation. Way to break up the fam, Claire. Sylar showed a glimse of humanity about wanting to meet his dad, but then left Luke with the hunters. BUT at the end he went back for Luke and that was precious.

If Heroes gets cancelled, I hope Sylar gets some sort of spinoff because he is probably only character that I care about. Which even surprises me since I don't care about Wolverine, Hulk, or the other hot-n-cold tragic comic heroes.

Sylar Gets A Teen Sidekick!

I have a theory that Heroes is only good when someone dies. Last night's episode did not annoy me. I felt like the plot was shifting to something exciting. Claire kept running her mouth to Daddy One and Daddy Two. Eventually she was sent home where she is deciding to get a part time job over college. Uhhh, okay? Despite Matt's illustrated warnings, Daphne was still shot, and I assume she's dead since she wasn't shown after the fact. Tracy tried to give Peter up to Nathan as leverage to get her life back. Backfired real quick when Peter flew away. Instead she's in custody. Ando reunited with Hiro and the power-pack with Daphne's help, pre-death of course. Nathan is learning that he has to sleep in the bed he made with the sudden reality that he can't control his "hunter." What?!? corruption and backstabbing in secret government-initiated tactics? Really Nathan? Didn't see that one coming? What a dumb character!

However, Sylar once again seemed to steal the show for me. He threatened to torcher a single mom and her teeenage rebellious son infront one of the officers that failed to kill him. While playing his mind games, Luke (the teen) revealed his microwave heat-projection ability. Sylar used his psycho bable to convince him that they are similar, and Luke ended up killing the officer/hunter to protect Sylar. The mom reverted to abusive mode and called Luke evil and stupid, but the kicker is that Luke might actually know where Sylar's dad is. Also there is this slim chance that Luke could be Sylar's brother, since it's not a "lie" that Luke believes he can help in locating absentee dad. Can we give Sylar a family already... geez? Maybe Claire should get a divorce from her's.

Heroes -- Still Has Daddy Issues

Incase you didn't see the Season 4 premiere of Heroes last night, this is what you missed. Nathan is still an asshole with this illusion of doing God's work. Claire overheard his secret talks with Mama Petreli and ran off to save Matt the cop. Matt the cop is living with Daphne, but now he can draw the future thanks to a 2 minute warning from the dead African. Really? Advanced telepathy wasn't enough? Tracy was the first to be caught by Nathan's superpower police, and was soon followed by Mohinder, Hiro, Claire, Matt, and Peter. Mohinder was blindsided by the fact that Noah Bennett is now working for Nathan. Claire just has family strife all over the place. Nathan and Peter had a rather forced conversation about blame/redemption/one-last-chance-before-I-stab-you-in-the-back-again before Peter was caught. Sylar was the only one to get away from the police. I guess it helps to have 15 powers at once. Sylar is busy trying to find his biological dad who apparently was his adopted (-yet absent) father's brother.

All the captured superhumans were put on a plane to who knows where, but Nathan tried to spare Claire. Instead she escaped, and choose to sneak onto the plane. Dumbass! There she attempted to stealthly free everyone. She freed Peter, who we now know can copy (or steal) abilities by touch. After some struggle and Claire found out that Bennett was co-piloting the plane, Peter froze-shattered a whole wall which is causing the plane to crash! Whoops! So far the only "heroes" unaccounted for would be Ando and Daphne. Will they save the day? Probably not. I'm sure Sylar doesn't care at this point.

Heroes is going for Most Improved

In my vacation time I stumbled on a post on LOGO online about my love-to-hate NBC series, Heroes! The article is an interview with writer and producer, Bryan Fuller, about the show's efforts to not suck. Apparently, Matt's (the cop/telepath) ex-(?)wife will come back into the picture and more people will die. Without Nikki and Monica... I could care less who dies now. The interview also reveals that Jon Glover (who played in Smallville as Lex Luthor's father) is set to play Sylar's father in the upcoming season. Fuller basically admits that the Villains volume was over-complicated and basically became too sci-fi for its own good. Too read more, click the link to the post on LOGO.

End of Volume 3: Dad's Suck... Volume 4: Nathan's a D-bag

Last night's episode of Heroes was the last installment of Volume 3: Villains and the last new episode until Feb. 2! Overall it was a good episode, like all of Heroes' finales. Peter sucker punched Nathan only to gain surprise help from firestarter, Flint and fear-man, Knox. Together the three restrained Mohinder and attempted to destroy the formula. Before it could be completely destroyed, Daphne stole a sample for Ando with faith that his power would be the same as Hiro's. Unfortunately it wasn't. Instead his power is like electric-adrenaline. He ended up enhancing Daphne to the level of time-travel. With their powers combined, they go back and save Hiro from getting stabbed by his father.

Sylar trapped Claire, Meridith, Noah, and Mama Petreli in "the company." Then he pretend to be the Joker and rant off about how they are all monsters and crap. Amidst the moral debates, Noah releases all the captured villians as bait for Sylar. Instead Sylar kills them all and managed to pump Meridith with adrenaline-- causing her lose control over her firestarter abilities. Noah gets locked in the room with Meridith only to be saved by Claire, who chose her parents over the Granny. Sylar and Mama Petreli have a one-on-one, but before he sequeezed out the identity of his real parents, Claire stabbed him in the neck with a shard of glass. Claire tries to save Meridith, but she is forced into tearful goodbye before Meridith & the building blows up.

Nathan recovered from the punch to his new supersoldier. However, the soldier was quickly killed by Knox. Nathan eventually tried to fight Knox off, and ended up saved by Tracy killing Knox. She then tried to pitch a PR solution to the failure of the super-soldier project, but Nathan fired her out of angsty nonsense. Later Tracy tries to take the ignored documentation of the formula only to be stopped by Daphne and Hiro. After calling him pikachu, Hiro sucker punched her. Lots of sucker punches in this episode. Nathan tries to save the formula to the point of smacking Peter with a large metal pipe. A partially conscious Mohinder accidentally ingested the formula, which seems to cure his side-effects, and escapes. Meanwhile Flint burns the formula, which means the whole building will blow up in seconds. Peter uses the formula and manages to fly Nathan and himself out of the building. After landing Nathan continues to be disgusted by Peter's views and says he never would have saved him. And in consistency with that statement, the preview of Volume 4: Fugitives shows that Nathan convinces the African-American President that there are people with powers and they must be rounded up and contained by the US Government. UH REALLY?!? How can they justify going after Hiro? He doesn't have powers, and he's not an American citizen. Also why is he the exception to the rule? Can we give the corrupt politician thing a rest? I'm in overload being in Chicago and all! Since he managed to have a file on Micah, I would like them to bring Monica back. Did we forget about New Orleans?

Hiro still sucks... surprised?

If you like convoluted plot developments that make you say WTF during commercial breaks, then you would have loved this week's episode of Heroes. Sylar killed Elle. Then he killed some chick with lie-detecting powers. Then went after Papa Petreli. In the meantime-- in the past rather, Hiro and Claire act to prevent her from becoming the catalyst despite their lost-in-translation issues. Claire stops Noah from receiving the phone call leading to baby Claire becoming the catalyst. Hiro reunites with his dying mother, who happens to be a healer. She heals Hiro's forgotten memories, only to be easily convinced by his hero-complex to give him "the Light." She dies. Hiro cries. Somehow it wasn't sad at all. Just before returning to the present, Papa Petreli intercepts by taking Hiro's powers and "the Light." In true villain fashion, the throws Hiro off the roof just before sending Claire to the present to pass the message to opposing captain, Mama Petreli. Really? He couldn't protect "the Light" for 5 minutes! Hiro should really stop trying.

Ando, Daphne, and Matt manage to find the missing last issue(s) of 9th Wonder to discover that Hiro is lost in the past. They have the brillant idea of finding the formula so Ando can copy Hiro's power to bring him back. Is it just me or is that severely flawed logic? Nathan is still a d-bag. Nothing new except, he chose the first soldier to be the test subject of the completed formula-- who became super-strong. Personally, I was hoping for an Alex Mack-inspired ability. After completing the formula, Papa Petreli went off to confront Peter who ambushed him with help of the Hatian. Peter took too long to shoot him, but Sylar came just in time. Sylar revealed that Arthur was not his father, then technically, shot him with Peter's bullet. Seems like a lot of people died this episode. However, I would like to point out that Flint the firestarter didn't die, so maybe Mohinder is be able to sleep at night.

Eclipse pt. 2/ Powers return

Last night was part two of the Eclipse episodes. Mohinder kills Flint (Flamethrower villain) to escape the lab to see Maya, but the eclipse fades and restores his curse before he can approach her. Sad for him. Peter & the Haitian free Nathan, and eventually the Haitian defeats his brother with his awkward, nullifying power. Nathan then reveals to Peter that he believes that everyone should have powers, so that superhuman villains wouldn't hold such a leverage as the dictator. Then, the asshole leaves Peter in the wild and tells him to get a ride home with the consolate. F--ed up! Worst brother ever! Matt has his moment with Daphne when he convinces her to open up to her father. *yawn. Seth Green calms down Hiro when he gets frightened by his comic illustrated past and losing his dad. Hiro finds out that he will take Claire to the past to see her "adoption." Noah tries to kill Elle and Sylar, but he waits until after they roll around in the sheets. He eventually kills Sylar after ignoring the frantic calls of his wife that the hospital is suspicious that Claire's body has never been sick and that Claire is actually dying! So Claire dies, but revives-post eclipse only to be extra pissed off at her Dad for not being there. Sylar and Elle rush the house to get revenge/finish their mission. Noah reveals that Sylar is not a Petreli. Instead Sylar was created. Noah also hinted that Elle knew all along. Hiro appears and teleports Elle and Sylar to a beach, where Sylar proclaims that he can't change and proceeds to kill Elle. Hiro takes Claire to the past, where Claire might learn something important. To be continued.

Power Down

Last night was the first of a two-part episode of Heroes. Papa Petreli had/drew a vision that the eclipse is connected to Claire Bennett's critical injury. He sends Sylar and Elle-who quickly becomes more crazy- to capture her, but ends up in a depowered brawl with Claire and Noah. Claire takes a bullet for her dad, not realizing the eclipse took her powers too. Ando tries to get Matt to fix Hiro, but was too preoccupied with Daphne when she runs off in fear. The guys follow her to Kansas and quickly lose their powers. Turns out Daphne is crippled and her powers allowed her to walk (and run and run really fast). Hiro and Ando go to a comic book shop to find the newest 9th Wonder and find Seth Green?

Mohinder should thank the universe because the eclipse halted his side effects along with his abilities. He also had a naked moment, which maybe someone out there was excited about. However instead of chasing after Maya, he is being forced to figure out why no one has powers. Nathan and Peter go after the Haitian who is trying to pull a coup against his brother and tyrant-in-power. Finally they give him a story, and it's that deep. I need more warning. Nathan's stubbornness gets him captured by the tyrant, whose power is impenetrable skin/invulnerability. Meanwhile Claire's wound becomes critical, while Noah goes sniper on Elle & Sylar.

Heroes... still crazy

Incase you already haven't heard, one or more of the main writers/some other important role have left the show. Is it related to bad ratings? I don't know but I do know what happened on the show last night. Arthur reverted Hiro's mind to when he was 10 years old. Luckily Ando helped trigger Hiro's power for a last minute escape. Ando keeps trying to get Hiro to remember/act his true age (good luck there), but eventually ends up at a comic book store to find the latest 9th Wonder- the near future telling comic. How that comic is still operating with it's illustrator/writer being dead since Season one? Ask the writer that got canned. On this hemisphere, Arthur revealed that empathy is the secret to controling Sylar's ability. To learn this lesson, Arthur locked him in a room with Elle. After being zapped a couple hundred times, he convinces Elle to forgive him and herself, which magically gave him her ability without taking her's completely away. WTF!? So he's Peter, now? Wait are they a couple?

In the meantime Arthur sent Freddie Cougar and Flame boy after Peter and Claire. Emulating a plot line from X-Men, the villains were after Claire and not Peter as they assumed. Nathan confronted his father to only be more confused by his proclimation that Nathan was always his favorite son. Haven't heard that all season. When Nathan goes to see his mom, Tracy stays behind and strikes a deal with Arthur to pull Nathan to his side. Matt tries to free Mama Petreli from her coma, but gets blind sided by Arthur revealing that Daphne is betraying him. She joins the mental drama and confesses her love to Matt, and Mama convinces Arthur to let her go. Everyone awakes to be joined by Claire, Peter, and Nathan. Claire discovers that she is the catalyst for the power-giving serum, and now everyone is split up among Petreli parents like children from a broken home waiting for the eclipse to happen.

Flashback to prevent the Flash Forward? Damn, Heroes!

After an hiatus last week, NBC just aired a new episode of Heroes. 98% of this episode was a flashback. I guess this offsets they hypothetical future episode. Hiro fell into the African's spirit-journey-trance and saw Arthur/Papa Petrelli's defining turn to villainy along with some other stuff. He saw that Linderman felt guilty for following Arthur's orders to kill Nathan, who at the time was set on destroying Linderman's empire. To make up for it, he "healed" Mama Petrelli so that she would recover all the memories that Arthur erased. To stop her evil husband, she poisoned his dinner and had the Haitian over to negate his powers. Unfortunately poison didn't affect Papa's psychic powers, and he convinced the doctor to fake his death.

This beyond broad flash back also showed that Meredith (Claire's flame-throwing mom) is the older sister of Flint (villain flame-thrower). She kept trying to help him get away, but he kept getting caught. Her temporary company partner-turned enemy caught her but let her go after finding out she was Claire's mother. This episode also revealed that Sylar almost became good after his first kill, but under orders a reluctant, I'm-falling-for-the-bad-guy, Elle and rather severe Agent Bennett practically forced him to kill again. The strange thing is that Sylar also stole this blowing-shit-up ability much like Piper's in Charmed, but I don't remember him using it before. Yeah I referenced Charmed, wanna fight about it?

After the trance wore off, the African screamed. Hiro & Ando slowly run to his aide to find his head chopped off. Then Hiro was grabbed by Papa Petrelli, and I think we all know what Papa's attempting to do. Next week, they talk about the eclipse! Will they finally explain the connection? Better yet did we ever really care about the eclipse.

Life Lessons from Heroes

Normal absentee Dads usually come around for money. Superhuman absentee Dads come back to suck up your powers and lead an army of villains.

Father Knows Best

Time for another late recap of Heroes. Funny how I think nothing really happens in an episode until I watch it with people who haven't kept up. Today is about saving time to so let me break this down into what I feel like mattered.

Peter tried to kill his mom, and now he is in a coma after Sylar stopped him. Claire ran off to catch some villains, but was disgusted that her dad was working with Sylar. Only to be more disgusted when her dad tried to convince the villain at gunpoint to kill Sylar. Claire's biological mom tried to save her but went after the wrong villain and now she needs to be saved. Adam Monroe almost escaped from Hiro but he was kidnapped by the fear-powered villain. Hiro was asked to join the villains but his test was to kill Ando--which he easily did. Geez, I wonder why Ando wouldn't want to kill Hiro in present time. Speedster/Daphne was assigned by Linderman's ghost to go recruit Matt to join the revolution aka villains. Dr. Suresh is still crazy and now he kills normal people. Nathan found out that he was given powers-- just like Tracy. Mama Petreli had a vision in which she found out Papa Petreli will come back and kill everyone. Turns out that Matt's psychic troll of a dad is still conscious and created the Linderman ghost that is talking to Nathan and Daphne. Also Matt's dad is working for Papa Petreli and is probably going to revive Papa Petreli to full health with Adam's blood.

The Episode Where 90% Of It Won't Even Happen!

Being a fan of Heroes is such a roller coaster ride. It sucks. It's good. It sucks. Still Sucks. It's great. WTF writers strike!? I'm still watching, damn it. Last night, Future Peter and Peter stumbled around 4 years in the future in which most humans have powers and Peter is seen as an extremist hunted down by Claire. Future Peter gets shot and put in a coma. Peter gets away and finds Mohinder who is now a cloaked hermit. Peter is convinced that he must find Sylar because Future self convinced him he needs Sylar's help to fix the present. However, Peter interprets it as "I-must-learn-Sylar's-power." Despite Mohinder's warning he tracks Sylar down. In the mean time, Future Speedster-girl-in-France (her name isn't that important yet) is married to Matt with an infant but more importantly adoptive parents of Molly. She uses Molly to track down Peter at Sylar's and she heads out with Claire and the villain of fear (don't think he has a name yet) to intervein. Peter meets Sylar/Gabriel who is now Mr. Rogers, lives in what used to be the Bennett home, and has a son named Noah. After painting the future, Sylar is convinced to teach Peter how to use his power- despite warning his brother that it comes with an hunger. The Anti-Peter team appears and after accidentally killing little Noah- Sylar literally blows up and eventually kills Speedster girl. President Nathan stops Claire from torturing Peter. After a pointless discussion about should the world have powers, Peter almost kills Nathan in true Sylar fashion then teleports to the present to confront Sylar.

Now the other stuff that happened:
Mohinder is concerned about his aggression and nasty rash. Present Claire is still MIA. I assume no one cares about Micah and New Orleans. Art imitating life? Tracy was a triplet separated at birth who was given powers with the original formula. Future Tracy is the First Lady. Nathan is still talking back to the ghost of Linderman. Matt pretty much saw everything that Peter experienced in the future during his "spirit quest." Hiro and Ando are making steps to reconcile, but the show ended with Mama Petreli telling them to dig up his feudal frinemy, Adam Monroe.

Heroes...you didn't miss much

This is beyond late but let me spoil the ending for the fans of Heroes. Thats it. Nothing happened. Hiro and Ando's relationship is appearing more and more doomed for failure as they wrongfully distracted the Haitian as he was most likely cleaning the mess Hiro created. Dumbass!

Sylar
stole some chick's power, which is almost the same as Phoebe's in Charmed-- the no-name chick could touch things and know where its been and other random stuff; check wikipedia for the fancy real word for it. After being fed, Mama Petreli partnered him up with Noah Bennet. They do the whole odd couple routine, but it was Future Peter who stopped time and freed Present Peter. Unfortunately, Noah was counting on Present Peter to save his life, but Sylar came through for Noah. Five seconds later, he killed one of the villans and took his sonic screaming ability.

Claire is still acting like a rape victim, and currently leaving town after her biological mother went Kill Bill-mentor on her. Tracy is technically not Nikki. Tracy went to New Orleans and met Micah who helped her find out that Nikki and Tracy were born in the same hospital, same day, same doctor. Tracy found the doctor only to find out that he created her. So Nikki was a clone? No wonder why she was crazy in the head. Also, Matt is still in Africa and is going to see visions of his new future.

Heroes is back!!!

Seriously people, it's been so long since Heroes was on TV that I started to question my love for the show. I mean lets be real, the show can be a wicked witch and a midget short of Passions at times. However, last night's premiere was beyond necessary for me. Since it was a two hours of sci-fi goodness, forgive me if I leave out parts. Nathan was shot by future angsty Peter, who some how transferred his soul- and I assume body- within one of the villains in Level 5. After quickly discovering that a Peter was the shooter, Matt was teleported -more like ejected- to Africa and is about to learn about the future from a friendly African that conveniently knows English. Nathan has found God and now thinks he is meant to be a living angel while having conversations with Mr. Linderman's ghost/figment of Nathan's imagination. Probably created by future angsty Peter. Despite the inner voices, he took an offer to be New York's Jr. Governor (something like that). Nikki Tracy is the NY Governors aid, and surprisingly froze and shattered a reporter after persistantly trying to claim she was a Las Vegas stripper, Nikki. WTF? New power? Does this means she's not Nikki?

Hiro, like a true dumbass, opened a safe against his dad's wishes, and now some French chick with super speed has a portion of a formula which maybe the key to giving anyone abilities. He also traveled to the future, where he saw Ando kill him with lightning. Nice power- I knew I liked Ando for a reason. Hiro was acting kind of stank to Ando ever since, by now he should realize that altering his actions is what creates his enemies in the first place! Must we revisit the Adam debacle. Also the world (well Tokyo at least) was being destroyed. Dr. Suresh discovered that abilities are connected to adrenaline, and by using Maya's hormones he gained heightened senses- AKA Spiderman. However, it's backfiring and he's becoming a monster. Remember that movie, The Fly? Yikes! Now to the main event.

Future angsty Peter went back to the past to save Claire and the future from the witch-hunt hell that it became. However as present day Mama Petrelli pointed out, he created a Butterfly effect that caused even more harm. Claire was caught by Sylar. Now Sylar can heal. After letting her live, he revealed that she was "special" and could probably never die. Then Claire realized that she can't feel (pain at least). So, now she has this I'm-not-human complex. Hiro will probably have to find Claire because his dad fortold that she's the only one who can prevent the end of the world if the formula gets in the wrong hands. Which it is- thanks, Hiro. Mama Petrelli revealed her power of foreseeing the future- however she is able to step inside her visions. Much like Peter did in season one when he realized he was "the bomb". Sylar tried to invade Level 5 for a super power buffet which was thwarted by Elle when he tried to take her power. The blast left Sylar badly injured and the Level 5 inmates escaped including the body present day Peter is trapped in and Noah Bennett. Mama Petrelli had witty banter with future angsty Peter the whole time, and now that Bob (Elle's dad) is dead, she runs "the company". After firing Elle, she approaches Sylar and tells him she can give him a mother's approval- like he always wanted. Only to then proclaim that she IS his mother! WHAT? To be continued... and I love it.

Heroes die & Revive more than Stephano

This week was the oh so early season finale of "Heroes" and people seemed to die left and right. A revived Bennett made a deal with Bob to protect his family, which again makes him property of the company. Sylar shot Maya in the chest and made Mohinder test his vaccine on her. Unfortunately it worked. Maya now knows Sylar is evil, but he had already escaped Elle's one-armed attack. Nikki and son go to save black girl. Unfortunately Nikki did not have her powers. So when the good ol' burning plank blocked the path out of the burning building, she only had enough strength to free the black girl. Down in Texas, Hiro teleported circles around Peter, only to be done in by an electric current through the metal sword. Peter still don't understand Adam is crazy.

Meanwhile Nathan and Matt the cop team fly down to Odessa after getting Petrelli Mama out of jail. Adam and Peter slash their ways to the vault, only to have Hiro and Matt show up. Matt's grown abilities didn't affect Peter, but apparently listen
ing to his brother did. During their touching reunion, Hiro grabs and teleports Adam away without knowing he dropped the virus a split second before he did so. Peter races the clock and catches the vial before it broke. Then he uses his radiation/atomic bomb ability to destroy the virus. Nathan calls for a press conference and (like his daughter) planned to expose his ability to the world. However he got shot almost half the times of 50 Cent by who? Petrelli Mama!? Not sure she actually pulled the trigger, but she talked to some mystery person on the phone and apparently "[person on phone] just opened Pandora's Box." That's twisted! His own mother went Suge Knight on his ass. Now that Micah lost both his parents, he better pull a Batman and become a certified bad-ass.
