The Dance Scene is a new series on the E! channel starring choreographer Laurieann Gibson. Ryan Seacrest is the executive producer. The show will premiere Sunday, April 10th at 10:30/9:30c.
I've been a fan of Laurieann since In Living Color and Making The Band. This is sure to be one of my favorite shows. It will be interesting to see the behind-the-scenes of Laurieann and her team as they work on some amazing projects. Check out the sneak peek below of The Dance Scene.
Dancing With The Stars announced the new cast last night during The Bachelor. The cast will include:
Chelsea Kane - Disney Star...she was in the Disney Channel original movies Minutemen and Starstruck. She also guest-starred on Disney Channel's hit series Wizards of Waverly Place.
Chris Jerico - WWE Superstar...He is the first ever Undisputed Champion of the WWE.
Hines Ward- The Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiving is a four-time Pro Bowler, three-time Super Bowl participant, two-time Super Bowl champ, and the Super Bowl XL MVP.
Kirstie Alley - Awarding winning actor...I always think about her being on Cheers.
Mike Catherwood(aka "Psycho Mike") - Radio DJ from L.A. on the Kevin & Bean Morning Show on KROQ-FM and a co-host of Loveline Radio with Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Petra Nemcova - Model...graced the pages and covers of magazines such as Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Shape, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. (Romeo) - He is an American entertainer, rapper, actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is a college student studying business and plays basketball for USC.
Sugar Ray Leonard - Legendary boxer and a true champion. Ray was a host and mentor on one of my favorite TV series, The Contender.
Wendy Williams - The Queen of All Media...The Wendy Williams Show has taken the country by storm. I use to listen to Wendy's radio show all the time when I first moved to the east coast. Wendy is in the National Radio Hall of Fame.
Dancing With The Stars (season 12) 2-hr season premiere airs Monday, March 21 on ABC.
If you haven't seen the trailer for The Heart Specialistyet....here is your chance. When I saw the trailer, I thought it looked like a black Grey's Anatomy.
The Heart Specialist is an upcoming romantic comedy film starring Wood Harris, Zoe Saldana, Brian J. White, Marla Gibbs, Method Man, Jasmine Guy, Terrence J, Leon, Ed Asner and Mýa. Yes...they are all in the movie. I was surprised to see actors like Zoe Saldana and Ed Asner in this movie. The music in the trailer has the classic 90's black movie sound. I enjoyed the random plugs (Steve Harvey's book) and pop culture references (Trey Songz). I got a few laughs.
The film will be in theaters everywhere January 14, 2011 (MLK Weekend). Not sure what Dr. King would say about that. (Flashbacks of the Boondocks episode when Dr. King returns.)
My favorite holiday commercial for 2010 is from retailers TJ Maxx and Marshalls. The holiday carolers singing in the mall like a flash mob to tell all the other shoppers to leave and go to TJ Maxx/Marshalls. It ranks number 1 with me mostly because one of the singers is Terrence 'T.C.' Carson (who played Kyle on the sitcom Living Single). He is the black guy just in case you weren't sure. They did a few versions of the commercial so I'm sure he is getting a nice check. Any commercials out there that made your holiday brighter? Leave a comment. Merry Christmas!!!
I was on twitter and saw the profile picture for Man vs Food host Adam Richman (@adamrichman). As soon as I saw it I thought about George Clooney. [Random thought...Remember when George Clooney was on Facts of Life?] Adam is really serving some Clooney in his pic. I think they are both good-looking men in their own right. Let me know what you think.
Is it odd that my favorite food shows are on the Travel Channel? I hope not...because I'm a huge Man vs. Food fan. It's one of those shows you start watching and the next thing you know you have watched 3 hours of other people eating. If you are a fan of Adam, pick up his new book: America the Edible: A Hungry History, from Sea to Dining Sea - By Adam Richman.

This week on RuPaul's Drag U the special guest is Meredith Baxter (Mom from Family Ties). Love It!! She is the perfect person to judge the Mother vs. Daughters episode. The Drag professors will be Morgan McMichaels, Tammie Brown and Ongina. I can't wait to see them whip these women into shape.
I was talking to a friend about RuPaul's Drag U the other day. I told him I would so go on this show. If I could pick my Drag Professor...I would want Morgan McMichaels (because she would make me over the top sexy) or Raven (because she would make me more seductive in a cute sexy way). OK...I want to be more sexy. I think I have a inner Drag Queen waiting to get out. LOL!!
Tune in for the new episode of RuPaul’s Drag U this Monday, September 13 @ 9/8c on Logo.

June is the month for weddings and Lifetime is giving us a Double Wedding. Our favorite set of twins are back on TV with a new movie. Tia and Tamera Mowry from the hit TV show "Sister, Sister" star in the comedy Double Wedding.
They play twins (of course) Deanna and Danielle Warren. One is an attorney and the other is a cake decorator. Both are on the hunt for the perfect guy when Deanna goes on a blind date with a handsome architect Tate Kelly. But some how Tate starts dating Danielle by mistake. Who will end up with their dream man? Double Wedding premieres Sunday, June 20th @ 8PM ET on the Lifetime Movie Network.
I just wanted to start out by saying Happy Birthday to Al B Sure.
There is a new reality dating show coming to TV One this summer. It's Donald Trump presents: The Ultimate Merger. The lucky lady looking for love is Omarosa from The Apprentice, Celebrity Apprentice and The Surreal Life.
One of the bachelors vying for her love is R&B singer/radio personality Al B Sure. Apparently the two dated in the past. You know what they say about going back and dating an ex....you broke up for a reason. As I was looking for the Night and Day video (it's the 2nd clip) to post...reminiscing about that uni-brow. I came across a clip from the Rolanda Show (1st clip). YES...Rolanda! Does anyone remember this show? Al B Sure stops by to talk to Rolanda...and come to find out they use to date too. Check out the clips below and get ready for The Ultimate Merger premiering June 17th @ 9PM ET on TV One.
