Dancing With The Stars 12 Cast

Dancing With The Stars announced the new cast last night during The Bachelor. The cast will include:

Chelsea Kane - Disney Star...she was in the Disney Channel original movies Minutemen and Starstruck. She also guest-starred on Disney Channel's hit series Wizards of Waverly Place.

Chris Jerico - WWE Superstar...He is the first ever Undisputed Champion of the WWE.

Hines Ward - The Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiving is a four-time Pro Bowler, three-time Super Bowl participant, two-time Super Bowl champ, and the Super Bowl XL MVP.

Kendra Wilkinson - Reality TV Star (Girls Next Door and Kendra) and Playboy model.

Kirstie Alley - Awarding winning actor...I always think about her being on Cheers.

Mike Catherwood (aka "Psycho Mike") - Radio DJ from L.A. on the Kevin & Bean Morning Show on KROQ-FM and a co-host of Loveline Radio with Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Petra Nemcova - Model...graced the pages and covers of magazines such as Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Shape, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Ralph Macchio - Actor...He will always be The Karate Kid. I loved him in the movie My Cousin Vinny, ABC's Ugly Betty and his appearance on the TV series Psych.

Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. (Romeo) - He is an American entertainer, rapper, actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is a college student studying business and plays basketball for USC.

Sugar Ray Leonard - Legendary boxer and a true champion. Ray was a host and mentor on one of my favorite TV series, The Contender.

Wendy Williams - The Queen of All Media...The Wendy Williams Show has taken the country by storm. I use to listen to Wendy's radio show all the time when I first moved to the east coast. Wendy is in the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Dancing With The Stars (season 12) 2-hr season premiere airs Monday, March 21 on ABC.

Goodbye Betty

I'm so sad that Ugly Betty has ended. I must say the final episode was a really nice way to end the show. The transformation of Betty over the seasons was great. So happy Betty got the chance to realize her dream of starting a magazine. Not sure about the Betty and Daniel romance...but it was a sweet ending.

I wish we could have seen more with Tyler and Claire. Maybe have him confront his bio-father. Love the new relationship for Justin and Hilda getting married. Finally my Ugly Betty wedding...I waited a long time for that. I guess I'll have to pray for the movie. Thank you to all the cast and crew of Ugly Betty for giving us a great show to tune in to see each week. You made TV fun and touched our hearts!

Oh how we are going to miss Ugly Betty when the show ends this season. Much love to the cast, writers and crew. Only bigger and better things to come for each of them.

Ugly Betty is canceled

It looks like Ugly Betty has gotten the axe earlier today. The show will end with this season, and the finale is expected to air in April. It's my belief that the ratings never recovered from the Writers' strike, and ABC simply felt it was time to pull the plug. To be fair, we even kind of stopped covering the show on the blog-- partially because we are lazy, partially because we liked the show too much, and partially because even our DVR's didn't know when the show was on anymore with all the crazy schedule changes! In a post "I'm-With-Coco" world, it is clear that entertainment is very much a business filled with political red-tape and ratings are nothing less than an electoral college vote. Following several losses to 30 Rock, the show was even shut out for Golden Globe nominations this year thanks to newcomers, Modern Family and Glee. I'm really going to miss my Amanda-Mark moments, and I definitely don't think Vanessa Williams got the props she deserved. Shout out to all crew and staff affected by the cancellation.

Is Ugly Betty In Trouble?

News flash to me-- Ugly Betty had ugly ratings throughout this season, and now ABC is putting the show on a sick leave. Between the reruns and the show getting pumped for Presidential speeches, I feel like I haven't seen Ugly Betty in weeks.

Articles on the web say the show probably won't come back to Thursday nights until March or even as late as June?!!? Many blame a stale plot, which if that's the case...*ahem I'm looking at you, Grey's Anatomy! ABC's plan is to move in Samantha Who? with new web-series adapted comedy, In the Motherhood. This new show will feature Jessica St. Clair who quickly became one of my favorite commentators on Best Week Ever. Just wanted to say something about last weeks Ugly Betty (Torando Girl) episode. What's was up with the Candles??

Hilda needed to sell products in her salon in order to get her permit, so Archie Rodriguez (Ralph Macchio) brings her candles to sell. Why not hair care products?? Hair salon = Hair care. Just a thought.
