Ready For "The Game"

I'm very excited about the new season of The Game starting tomorrow (1/11/11 @ 10/9c) on BET. I can't wait to see what's happening with for all of our favorite characters. I've been counting down since the show ended.

Check out the video below of The Game stars Tia Mowry and Wendy Raquel on the Wendy Williams Show.

We were watching the news last night and they were interviewing Jason Taylor from the NY Jets. The first thing I said was, "It's Jason Pitts." What do you think of the pic? I know...I really have The Game on my mind. Thank you BET for giving me some scripted TV worth watching!!

Look-A-Likes: Man vs. Food vs. Clooney

I was on twitter and saw the profile picture for Man vs Food host Adam Richman (@adamrichman). As soon as I saw it I thought about George Clooney. [Random thought...Remember when George Clooney was on Facts of Life?] Adam is really serving some Clooney in his pic. I think they are both good-looking men in their own right. Let me know what you think.

Is it odd that my favorite food shows are on the Travel Channel? I hope not...because I'm a huge Man vs. Food fan. It's one of those shows you start watching and the next thing you know you have watched 3 hours of other people eating. If you are a fan of Adam, pick up his new book: America the Edible: A Hungry History, from Sea to Dining Sea - By Adam Richman.

Look-A-Likes: Unsung Inspiration

If you haven't had the chance to see Unsung on TV One, then you are missing out on a great show. Recently they aired Unsung: Tammi Terrell. I've heard the amazing and timeless songs from Tammi Terrell but never thought about her story until now. Unsung did a wonderful job with the story. I say that because it made me want to know more about her and listen to the songs with a new found respect. As I watched the show, I kept thinking the Tammi Terrell story would make an amazing movie. It was easy to see who should play Tammi...the perfect person would be Taraji P. Henson. They look so much alike. Two talented women and one incredible story! I would watch.

Look-A-Likes: MTV VMA's 2010

When I was watching the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, I noticed a look-a-like I didn't expect. It's Bruno Mars and Liberace. Who would have thought? From the perfect hair to the ring on his finger as he played the piano, it's a if Bruno was playing in an updated movie version about Liberace. Shout out to RapRadar.com for the clip.

Snooki-licious: Who's Your Favorite Jersey Girl??

Which Jersey Girl is your favorite?

Olivia (photo left) from the new Style Network show Jerseylicious or Snooki (photo right) from MTV's Jersey Shore? Vote in our poll on the top right or leave us a comment.

Olivia is a makeup artist at the Gatsby Salon and is a twin to our girl Snooki. Both are extra tan with dark hair and just a little tacky. Is it a Jersey thing? But you have to love their Jersey attitude.

You can check out Jerseylicious on Sundays @ 10/9c on the Style Network. Jersey Shore will be back for season 2 on MTV and Jersey Shore UNCENSORED: Season 1 DVD is on sale now.

Look-A-Likes: Sarah Palin & RuPaul

Who would have thought Sarah Palin and RuPaul would be considered look-a-likes? RuPaul does a great spoof of the Sarah Palin's book cover "Going Rogue." To bad "Going Vogue" isn't a real book!! I would add it to my must read list. I can't wait for the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race starting Monday, February 1 @ 9PM ET/PT on Logo.

BET Awards '09: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Last night (6/28/09) was the BET Awards/Michael Jackson Tribute. The night was filled with highs and lows. You still have to give it up the BET Staff for doing the best they could in a short amount of time. Shout out to all the people in the GlobalGrind.com chatroom last night (Illmatic, NYShorty, CeeGee2009, Emma, Ahseya_ayesha and everyone else). Very Entertaining!!

Here are a few of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly moments from the show.

THE GOOD

• Janet Jackson coming out to thank the fans on behalf of the family. Thank you Janet we really needing to hear that!! (Video #1)
• Jamie Foxx performing Blame It with T-Pain. Along with special guests Snoop Dogg (still not sure why he was out there) and Travis Barker from Blink 182.
• Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence teaming up as Sheneneh and Wanda in Skank Robbers...VERY FUNNY!! (Video #2)

• Day 26's performance at the pre-show after winning Best Group.

THE BAD

• Young Money - Drake, Lil Wayne, Baby (Birdman) performance...well what you could hear of it after all the bleeps.
• Keri Hilson's performance of Turning Me Off/Knock You Down.
• Pleasure P/Marcus Cooper running out of breath singing his own song during the pre-show. Not sure if I can call it singing...he just talked most of the lyrics.

• Ving Rhames coming out with Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson for a Baby Boy movie flashback that didn't work.

THE UGLY

• Drake, Lil Wayne, Baby (Birdman) for having little girls on stage as they perform Every Girl. Not a good look!!
• The sound guy not have the mics loud enough for the presenters and the person that was doing the bleeps missing most of the words that needed to be bleeped...like Eddie Levert's slip. LIVE TV...Gotta Love It!!

• Tiny and Toya promoting their new BET show. They say isn't a Baby Mama show. What else is it?? Picture below of Tiny accepting T.I.'s award for Viewers' Choice and her celebrity look-a-like Miss Piggy. It's the hair.

Look-A-Likes: Party Like A Rock Star

Here's my rock star look-a-like pictures. The first picture is of Riot (Rory Lewellyn) from the 80's cartoon Jem and The Holograms. He was the leader of The Stingers rock group. Riot spent most of his time trying to win Jem's heart from Rio. The second picture is of rock and reality show icon Bret Micheals. We loved him man as the lead singer for the group Poison. Bret took his search for love to TV with his hit VH1 reality show Rock of Love. I love them both.

Look-A-Likes: Cry Baby

Here is a look-a-like picture I thought you might enjoy. The first picture is of Nel (from the Bleach anime) and the other is of Pumkin (from I Love Money season 1). Dont' cry ladies...the 2nd season of I Love Money premieres Monday, Feb. 2 @ 9 PM EST on VH1.

Look-A-Likes: Cowboy Style

The first pic is of Blaine Edwards (played by Damon Wayans) from the Men on Film sketch on In Living Color. "Three words - fa - bu - lous!" The second pic is of Lisa, one of Diddy's former assistants, who appeared on I Want To Work For Diddy. How do you like their Cowboy style?

Look-A-Likes: Soul Brothers

Robert Dowey Jr. as Kirk Lazarus in Tropic Thunder and Kanye West are soul brothers. They could be twins. Maybe they can pick up where Tia and Tamera left off.

Robert Dowey Jr. plays Kirk Lazarus, a successful Australian actor who signs on for the Tropic Thunder movie. He goes as far as to get a controversial skin procedure so that he can play an African American. He is known to not break character at all, being totally legit throughout production, absorbing his role.
