New Show: The Dance Scene

The Dance Scene is a new series on the E! channel starring choreographer Laurieann Gibson. Ryan Seacrest is the executive producer. The show will premiere Sunday, April 10th at 10:30/9:30c.

I've been a fan of Laurieann since In Living Color and Making The Band. This is sure to be one of my favorite shows. It will be interesting to see the behind-the-scenes of Laurieann and her team as they work on some amazing projects. Check out the sneak peek below of The Dance Scene.

Model Catches Fire @ Diddy-Dirty Money Party

It was a wild night for Diddy-Dirty Money at the "Last Train to Paris" release party. A model's hair caught on fire at the party. Well...she is sitting in a tub with candles behind her...Weave + Candles = FIRE!!! I guess the sad thing is that the guys (Kevin Hart, Fabolous and Trey Songz) don't look like they helped at all. They just up. I guess she should be glad she was sitting in water because they didn't even throw a drink on her.

The good news is that the model is fine...no serious injury.

VMA 2009 Moments

Just when you think the VMAs is going to be another boring show...craziness breaks out.

• Sharkira and Pink show up on the red carpet in the same dress - You know someone is going to get fired over that one.
• Janet Jackson kills it on stage in a tribute to Michael - If you were checking out the performance then you saw Laurie Ann from Making The Band and someone said Chris Judd was dancing too.
• SYTYCD and ABDC alums on the show
  
• Kanye West interrupts Taylor Swift as she was accepting her Best Female Video Award speech - Video below...well until Viacom takes it down again. After that the word was MTV kicked him out.
  
• Boooooing every time someone said Kanye's name
  
• Beyonce winning but let Taylor come back on stage to finish her speech - To bad she didn't take time to thank Beyonce.
• Lady Gaga and all her outfits, her date Kermit the Frog and the bloody performance - SMH....
• Lil Mama popping up in stage at the end of Jay-Z's performance - Just odd...
• If you watched the ABDC VMA Challenge...the two best crews of the show were in the bottom...Check out our recap.

Diddy is back with a new reality show. This time he isn't making a band but he is Making His Band. The show will follow Diddy as he gets ready for his new album and searches for a live band to play behind him. Glad to see Laurieann back for this show!!

Making His Band premieres July 27th on MTV.

I was checking out Dawn Richard's MySpace page today. She has join Twitter. Dawn just signed up so I can't wait to see what she has to say. I hope she tweets more then waking up and going to bed. You can follow her at http://www.twitter.com/dawnrichard.

Since I was on Dawn's MySpace, I checked out her photos from the King Magazine 50th Issue (March 2009) Event. Dawn was featured in the issue stripped down to the basics. I guess someone had the same idea as her former Danity Kane band member. Well...kinda. Playboy is a whole other thing and Hef gives out cute necklaces.

Yay!! Making The Band Is Back

I'm so glad it's time for Making The Band!! Just when I think Diddy can't keep me interested in this show, he always finds a way to make me want to watch. I think it's the fights but I really like Day 26. Hoping they hang in there.

Aubrey Getting Paid To Take It Off

Aubrey O'Day (formerly for Danity Kane/Making The Band) is going to get paid to take off her clothes. According to a post on Global Grind from Atlnightspots.com, she is getting $500,000 to pose in the March 2009 issue of Playboy Magazine. I guess she took a page from Kim Kardashian's book. Sounds a little over priced...but I'm not hating on the check. Taking a quote from the movie The Players Club, "Make the money, don't let it make you."

Maybe she can parlay this into becoming one of Hef's new girls and move into the mansion. That would make The Girl's Next Door worth watching for another season.

New Years Eve Ball Might Turn Ciroc Blue

Diddy has made the City of New York an offer of 1 Million Dollars to change the color of the New Years Eve Ball to Ciroc Blue. The money would go to a charity. For everyone that will be out on New Years Eve, the Ciroc street team will be handing out cards (value $15.00) to give you a ride home.
