Snapple Taste Test

During the last season of Celebrity Apprentice, the final two contestants (Holly Robinson-Peete and Bret Michaels) created their own Snapple drinks. I looked for the drinks but they were always sold out. I just recently was able to get both of them. So we had our own mini taste test.

First up is Bret's Trop-A-Rocka Diet Snapple Tea (view Bret's Snapple commercial). It wasn't bad and I'm not the one to be drinking tea especially diet tea. The pear flavor stood out the most. The best thing is that it had only 5 calories per serving. Not a smooth drink but I would drink it again. Bret's charity is the American Diabetes Association (Sponsor of Camps for Kids With Diabetes) - www.diabetes.org.

Next is Holly's Compassionberry Tea Snapple (view Holly's Snapple commercial). This was really good (probably because of the sugar). The strawberry flavor stood out to us. I can see myself buying this drink again and again. Holly's charity is the HollyRod Foundation - www.hollyrod.org.

I know the Celebrity Apprentice Snapple drinks are for a limited time...but I hope they keep them. I think it would be great to be able to support these charities more.

Bret Is Hired!!

Congratulations to Bret Michaels for winning Celebrity Apprentice.

Even with all the health issues Bret has had recently, he still made it to the show. It came down to Bret and Holly Robinson Peete. The final challenge was to create a new Snapple drink. Bret made Diet Trop-A-Rocka Tea and Holly did Compassionberry Tea (both drinks are available in store for a limited time). Snapple (being the great company it is) matched the grand prize of $250,000.00 so that both charities would receive money.

Just when I think the Tony Awards wouldn't be interesting, something crazy happens. After Poison performed their song "Nothing But A Good Time", Bret Micheals accidentally runs into a lowering stage back drop. See the video below.

Rock Of Love's Dallas Reps Wendy's

Dallas, former Rock Of Love & Charm School contestant, has a national Wendy's commercial for the new Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty. Check out the commercial below.

Dallas was known for her battle with bad girl Lacey on each show. Most of their arguments were about meat. Too bad Dallas wasn't taking a big bit of a cheeseburger.

Sneak Peek: Charm School (Can't We All Just Get Along?)

The girls are saving the environment this week but the Real Chance of Love girls are ready to fight each other. In the clip, Bubbles and Bay Bay Bay are arguing. Then the other Real Chance of Love girls jump.

I thought they would put their problems on hold and let the Rock of Love girls take each other out. I still think a Rock of Love girl will win...they have a further journey to go on the show.

Of course, the Rock of Love girls are ready to fight each other on the first day. It's all that free liquor. The Real Chance of Love girls didn't know what they were getting into. Beverly gets into a fight with Brittaney...of course Beverly gets kicked out of Charm School. She didn't even get through the mixer. Dang girl!

Charm School is about to be in session but with Ricki Lake as the headmistress. Serving as Deans for the house will be LaLa and Stryker. The Rock of Love Bus and Real Chance of Love girls will surely entertain us this season.

Sneak Peek: Rock of Love Bus (Reunion)

Tonight (4/19/09) is the Rock of Love Bus Reunion show. The clip is of Mindy finally telling Bret that she was in love with him. I guess see she was hoping for a Bachelor ending. Is Bret rocking a mustache?? Not sure if I'm feeling that...but I still love you Bret.

Look-A-Likes: Party Like A Rock Star

Here's my rock star look-a-like pictures. The first picture is of Riot (Rory Lewellyn) from the 80's cartoon Jem and The Holograms. He was the leader of The Stingers rock group. Riot spent most of his time trying to win Jem's heart from Rio. The second picture is of rock and reality show icon Bret Micheals. We loved him man as the lead singer for the group Poison. Bret took his search for love to TV with his hit VH1 reality show Rock of Love. I love them both.

Are You Ready For Daisy Of Love??

You know I love watching VH1 dating shows...so how can I pass up watching Daisy, from Rock of Love 2, in her search for love. But after looking at the pictures of her suitors, she should just start over now.

A few of the guys look more girly than her. But I think this is the first show to have triplets. Flashback from reality dating show past...12-pack (from I Love New York) is on the show. Is he trying to get his own show??

Bret's In Love With A Stripper

Well...Bret finally picked a new Rock of Love. Bret choose Taya, the Penthouse Pet, featured dancer (code for stripper), mother and singer. But Bret didn't give her the ring last night. She may never see that ring if the ratings were good this season. Poor Mindy got the boot and is a loser in love once again. But she looked great on the finale. She will find love soon.

WOW!! It's down to the final 2 - Girl next door Mindy and Penthouse pet Taya. Two brunettes...How did that happen?? With Taya's pole skills she falls on the stripper side...and strippers don't have the best odds on Rock of Love. Bret has a ring for his new lady. No way he will stay with either of these chicks. I just hope Bret stops by Daisy of Love for an episode.

It's carnival time on Rock of Love Bus. Bret has a gift for the that leaves little to the imagination. Taya and Jamie are down to have some fun, but Mindy is being Mindy and refuses to put the full outfit on. Really Mindy...Have you forgot what show you signed up for? Maybe she didn't have a chance to a wax that day. Honestly, Bret should dump all 3 of them...I'll stick around for another Rock of Love.

In the clip below, a couple of the girls are talking mess about my girl Natasha's voice. They are calling her a man...they are just jealous that if she was a man she would still have it going on more then them. Stop hating broke down Barbies.

The eight remaining girls get a distressing "wake-up call" when Bret brings in three new girls to join the tour because he's not feeling the emotional effort. In fact, one of the girls tells Bret that someone here is actually engaged! Bret has to sort out the truth from the rumors and decide which girl to eliminate from the tour.
