Trailer: The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection

The Fashion Show is back with a new season on Bravo. There are a few changes...the new host and judge is fashion icon Iman. The other judges are Harper’s Bazaar’s Laura Brown and designer Isaac Mizrahi.

The twelve designers will be split into two fashion houses. Every week each person will design an outfit to create the ultimate collection. One person from the losing team will be sent home. The winner of the show will receive $125,000 and a spread in Harper's Bazaar.

DESPERATELY SEEKING DESIGNERS!

BRAVO COMPETITION SHOW SEEKS TALENTED FASHION DESIGNERS TO PARTICIPATE IN “THE FASHION SHOW” SEASON TWO

Are you a budding designer with a passion for fashion? Do you know how to conceive, sketch, cut, sew, drape, and design garments from scratch? Is it your dream to “make it big” in the fashion business?

Bravo and the production company Left/Right, Inc. are conducting a nationwide search for a select group of fashion designers who will compete head to head in the ultimate fashion competition series. Hosted by Isaac Mizrahi, The Fashion Show will give designers a once in a lifetime opportunity to have their work seen by icons of the fashion industry…and viewers around the world!

In order to apply for the show, you must be 21 years of age or older as of June 1, 2010. You can be a fashion school grad or you can be self-taught; you can specialize in haute couture or street wear. What matters most is that you have a creative vision for your designs and the technical skills (sewing, sketching, etc.) to back up that vision. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize.

Anna Wins The Fashion Show

Last night was the finale/reunion show for Bravo's The Fashion Show. America voted and Anna took home the grand prize. She wins $125,000.00 and her collection is being sold on Bravotv.com.

The judges also picked their favorite designer. Funny, that check use to be Fan Choice. Daniella was their pick and she received a check for $10,000.00. Where is Reco's check?? The clip below is Anna giving her final thoughts on the show.

No More Tears For Reco

If you've been following The Fashion Show, you know that my fave designer Reco was eliminated after showing the final collection. I was only interested in the show because Reco was still on. Now I'm not interested in seeing who wins the show. I usually love a reality show twist but this one seem shady. Not to take anything away from the other designers...they worked hard and each person had something in their collection that I liked. But I have no doubt that if Reco was in the pubic vote he would have won the show.

Sneak Peek: The Fashion Show (Final 4)

It's down to the final 4 designers (Reco, James-Paul, Daniella and Anna). Each designer had to create 10 looks for the runway show. Reco is cutting really close as he tries to finish his finale look.

This week the mini challenge has the designers creating a draped dress using 1 piece of fabric and 12 pins. Check out the first video clip. For their elimination challenge, the contestants have to create a fantasy evening gown and incorporate Swarovski crystals into their designs. Meet The Cast: The Fashion Show

It was a sad day when it was announced that Project Runway was leaving Bravo. But Bravo has a new show to for all the fashionistas...it's The Fashion Show. I'm curious to see what kind of challenges they will have.

The Fashion Show has 15 designers competing to get their designs sold in the retail market and win a $125,000 prize. The hosts for the show are designer Isaac Mizrahi and singer Kelly Rowland. They will both be judges along with Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion, Fern Mallis. America will choose the winner at the end of the show.

The Fashion Show premieres Thursday, May 7th @ 10/9c on Bravo.
