See Who's @ NY Fashion Week

Child Magazine Fall 2007 - Backstage
The stars turn out for New York Fashion Week. Here are a few pics from the shows. Kimora and the family were backstage at the Child Magazine event. Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester checked out the Julie Haus Show with Robert Buckley (Lipstick Jungle), Jamie Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos) and Molly Sims (Las Vegas). Of course our favorite judge Miss Jay Alexander, from America's Next Top Model, was spotted in the tents. I'm sure he is working over time this season. I couldn't leave out a shot of Vanessa Williams, from Ugly Betty, looking fabulous in the W VIP lounge.

WWE Diva Rolls Onto Psych

Check out the clip below of WWE Diva Mickie James on Psych. She had to pull out the roller skates for this gig. She did a good job...to bad they killed her character off towards the end of the show. I guess she won't be making another appearance on the show.

The View Lusts Over Adrian Grenier

Adrian Grenier stops by The View today to talk about the new season of Entourage and his new show Alter Eco. Adrian starts getting a little uncomfortable as the ladies want to talk more about sex. You can't blame them for being interested. He is very cute!!

Sneak Peek: America's Next Top Model (11X2)

Here is a sneak peek from America's Next Top Model - The ladder to model success.

In the clip below, Lauren Brie and Elina impress Jay during the photo shoot. New episode on Wednesday @ 8/7c on The CW.

Luke's Stripper Olympics

Last night I was showing some clips of Luke's Parental Advisory. We had a great laugh watching Luke's bachelor party that was themed the Stripper Olympics. The clip below shows parts of the bachelor party. There aren't any body parts exposed...but you might not want to watch this clip at work. The pole dancing event was crazy.

You can watch the full episode at VH1.com. Then you can see how Kristin's bachelorette party turned out.
This is such a great show!!

MTV's Top Pop Group

MTV's Top Pop Group is a new singing competition show. Nine groups will battle it out for $100,000. Mario Lopez will be hosting. Since ABDC will be back in January '09, I guess he has a little time to fill. Mario is getting his Ryan Seacrest on. The judges for the show are: Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child and Choreographer Brian Friedman. The viewers will vote for who they want to stay and who has to go.

We watched the casting special and there are a few good groups. I've hear of the group Ju-Taun...hope they do good. But some of the other ones made us worry. Was this the best they could find? I can hear Randy Jackson now...A little pitchy Dog!! Hopefully, MTV is going to put them in some kind of pop group boot camp. You can watch the casting special on MTV.com. Let us know if you like any of the groups that made it thru to the show.

I'm curious to see if any of the group will self-destruct while they are on the show. Check out the premiere of MTV's Top Pop Group on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008 @ 10 PM ET/PT on MTV.

Vivica A. Fox on Regis and Kelly

Vivica A. Fox stopped by Live with Regis and Kelly today (9/4/08). Check out the interview clip below. Glam God airs Thursdays @ 10PM EST on VH1.

ANTM 11 - Fierce Fourteen

After a long hour of wannabe models trying to pass the selection rounds, we finally had the top 14 move into the house. During the interview portion, one girl couldn't answer a simple question from Trya. The girl is a recent graduated from Harvard and the question was about her major. I guess a Harvard education isn't want it use to be. Of course everyone was a little surprised that Isis (with the little something extra) made it in the house. She will be going through a lot of tape this season...ouch!! Those chicks are crazy to underestimate her. I wonder what the other girls that didn't make it were thinking when Isis beat them...hummm. Not like we will remember any of them anyway.

As usual the pretty girls think they have it in the bag (Clark & Sharaun). Don't any of them watch this show before signing up? The girls that we like so far: Isis (of course), Joslyn (love her bubbly attitude) and Elina.

The photo shoot was to make voting sexy.
The first model to be safe this week was Marjorie. Her picture will be featured in the Top Model house so that everyone can really hate on her. The bottom 2 models were Sharaun and Nikeysha. The first model to be sent home was Sharaun (photo from the CW). I'm glad they gave her the boot...she was giving me a headache. Next week Benny Ninja will be back to teach them how to pose.

Shout out to Toccara!! They did a great CoverGirl Top Models in Action spot featuring her work in Italian Vouge. FABULOUS!! She didn't even win the show.

Project Runway - Double O Fashion

Tim takes the designers to meet fashion designer/icon Diane Von Furstenberg. Their challenge is to create a look inspired by her fall collection and the movie A Foreign Affair. The period is the end of the 30's/40's and the woman is a spy. Sounds like fun. The winning look will be produced and sold exclusively to American Express card members to raise money for the CFDA Foundation.

Every man for themselves in the work room. No one is saying too much about the outfit they are creating. They really took the spy theme seriously. This week there were 2 guest judges: Diane Von Furstenberg and Fern Mallis, Sr VP IMG Fashion (top photo). We haven't seen Nina Garcia in a couple episodes. But I must say...I really like Fern Mallis on the panel. The top 3 designers were Kenley, Leanne and Korto. All my favorites!! The bottom 3 were Joe, Suede and Stella.

Leanne
had immunity this week but she didn't need it. Leanne's sexy purple dress (bottom photo-Modeled by Karalyn) won it for her. If Kenley would have made a second piece to go with her dress she might have won. Someone has to go home and this week it was Stella. I really thought Joe was going to get cut because of the poor workmanship of his dress...but he lives to design for another day.

Sneak Peek: One Tree Hill (6X02)

Here are a couple clips for episode 2 of One Tree Hill. New episode airs Monday @ 9/8 c on the CW.

NKOTB Interview On The View

New Kids on the Block were on The View today. My inner teenage girl was very excited.

Check out the clip of the interview below.

Don LaFontaine: The King of Voiceovers

Don LaFontaine, died on Monday (9/1/08) at the age of 68, was known as the "King of Voiceovers". I had the pleasure of meeting him on a couple of occasions. He was always very sweet and everyone enjoyed what he had to say about the voiceover business.

According to ET Online, LaFontaine died due to complications from Pneumothorax, the presence of air or gas in the pleural cavity, the result of a collapsed lung. The official cause of death has not yet been released.

Don LaFontaine recorded more than 5,000 film trailers, television commercials, network and video game promotions. He was married to the singer and actress Nita Whitaker, who survives him with their two daughters. He will be missed!!

Diddy's Hollywood Walk of Fame

This week the contestants in I Want To Work For Diddy, had to take care of the most important women in Diddy's life...his mom and Kim Porter (baby's momma). The Downtown team had Kim and didn't meet the standards. The bottom 2 from that team were Boris and Kendra. No one was sent home this week...But they should have dumped the dead weight. They both could have went home.

Check out the video of Diddy's acceptance speech for the Hollywood Walk of Fame award.

Gone Country...Again

Host John Rich returns for a second season of Gone Country. The new cast including Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Mikalah Gordon (American Idol 4), Jermaine Jackson (The Jackson 5), Irene Cara (Singer/Actor), Chris Kirkpatrick (*NSYNC), Lorenzo Lamas (Actor) and Sean Young (Actor) as they compete for a chance at country music success. The first season winner was Julio Iglesias Jr.

At the end of two weeks, the artist that is most prepared to impress a country audience, as determined by Rich, will record and release their single to country music radio. John Rich will produce the single.
Sean Young is like a dark haired Brigitte Nielsen. Where's Flavor Flav when you need him? Irene Cara, who I love, is missing in actions most of the time. Combine that with the fact she is missing from the cast photos and the preview clips shows her packing her bags...I guess she quit in the early episodes. I would like to see Jermaine Jackson go country. I might have to pull out my DVD of the Facts of Life...when Tootie went to his concert and they thought her gift was a bomb. That was a good episode.

The clip below is a preview for the season, but you can watch full episodes of Gone Country 2 at CTM.com.
