America Ferrera, star of Ugly Betty, on Live with Regis and Kelly (Sept. 24, 2008). She talks about living and working in New York. They even show a brief clip from the Season 3 premiere. I was hoping they would show a clip of Regis and Kelly's guest spot. I can't wait to see them on the show tonight.

Mark Consuelos Busts A Move

On Friday's Live with Regis and Kelly, Mark Consuelos sits in the co-host seat filling in for Regis. I love it when he is there...Mark and Kelly are so cute together. Mark showed off his hip-hop dance moves...well...kinda. He went to the Kanye West concert and realized the audience was mostly middle-aged white guys. Click here to see the Host Chat video.

Their son, Michael, was also on the show for the Grilling with the Stars cooking contest. Who wouldn't want a Golden Wiener? He made Grilled Steak & Portobello Mushroom Fajitas. The recipe is posted on the show website. Michael looks like Mark but his actions are so Kelly.

Mark will be making an appearance on the new season of Ugly Betty playing a detective. He also has new movie, "For The Love Of Grace," where he plays a fireman. It will premiere Saturday, August 30th @ 9/8C on the Hallmark channel.

Hell's Kitchen Winner Cooks With Regis

Christina Machamer, winner of Hell's Kitchen, drops by to cook with Regis. Chef Ramsey told her to give him Hell. I think she did good job dealing with Regis. I never really thought about it but cooking risotto seems to be very hard on Hell's Kitchen. After seeing Christina cook it, I would consider trying to make it for dinner one night...but not for Chef Ramsey.

The High Heel-A-Thon

Yesterday was the Live with Regis and Kelly High Heel-A-Thon in Central Park. The winner was Chioma Aduba from Queens, NY. Chioma took home a check for $25,000 and a very large golden slipper trophy. She works in the marketing department at Sports Illustrated and gave Kelly her very own SI cover. Nice touch!! She should get a raise after this free publicity!

Today, Chioma had another race but with Mark Consuelos. This time in sneakers. She lost the race but Mark gave her his golden stool trophy anyway. Check out the highlights from yesterdays High Heel-A-Thon.

JC Chasez on Regis and Kelly

JC Chasez stops by Live with Regis and Kelly to talk about the new season of America's Best Dance Crew. JC makes a comment that people refer to him as the Simon of the show. I would have agreed until I saw last weeks show where Shane said one of the crews was WACK. I think Shane is now in the Simon Zone. They also show an old school clip of 'NSYNC...those were the days.

And She Cooks Too!!

Talk about putting some work in. Ashanti performed this morning on Good Morning America...then she was on LIVE with Regis and Kelly performing again and cooking. Who knew Ashanti was a cook. She didn't want to talk about her relationship with Nelly...but Kelly had a good idea for a CD featuring Nelly and Regis called Live with Regis and Nelly. I think it would be a good look for Nelly.

I'm posting this clip for all the people that tell me they want to move to New York. Regis and Kelly did a segment on real estate in NYC. After seeing this you will know why I tell people to move to New Jersey.

Not Fat Enough??

Fresh off her win as the latest America's Next Top Model, Whitney Thompson (pictured with Tyra Banks, photo from the CW) stopped by Live With Regis And Kelly (see clip below). They asked about her size which is a 8-10. People are saying that is kinda slim for a plus-sized/full-figured model. Whitney even admits its a below average size. So I checked out Plusmodels.com to see the requirements for plus-sized modeling. They say a size 10, 12, 14, 16 are the most common but sizes 8 and 18/20 are also used. It's about being toned and proportionate. Whitney meets those requirements...so stop trying to say she needs to be bigger.

But that's not the only thing people are saying about this cycles winner. Last season there were rumors that Saleisha Stowers was a ringer and now the same rumors are out there about Whitney. I read on Gawker.com that Whitney had previous modeling experience as a regular size model and was recruited by a show staffer that asked her to gain weight to be on the show. I wouldn't be surprised...it is reality TV.

At this point, I just hope Whitney can book some jobs!! I want to see her in some big designer shows...because if she doesn't get booked for some good jobs then the fashion industry is no closer to letting real size women into the fold. Make It Happen Whitney!!

Heidi Is A Busy Girl

Heidi Montag has been a very busy girl lately. She recently had a fashion show in Hollywood to introduce her new clothing line Heidiwood. OK...it's a cute name but it sounds a little porn-like. She even used songs from her upcoming CD for the show.

Miss USA 2008 talks with Regis & Kelly

Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart dropped by LIVE with Regis and Kelly this morning fresh off her big pageant win.

Crystle runs her own business "Inside/Out" which aids young women in building self-esteem and volunteers with many organizations in the community. She will be competing in The Miss Universe pageant. The 57th Annual MISS UNIVERSE® Competition will air live from Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam on NBC.
