Snoop Dogg will be appearing on One Live To Live on May 8 & 9. He is a long time fan of the show. Snoop will be performing songs from his new CD - Ego Trippin.
Snoop will appear as himself as a surprise guest at Adriana's (Melissa Fumero) bachelorette party. He will also recreate the theme song for One Life To Live. His version will play for both of the episodes he is on. According to the ABC website, there is a surprising connection between Snoop and Llanview. That should be interesting...Maybe Bo arrested him back in the day.

I forgot to tell the story about when I saw Camille, from cycle 2, at an event we did with Russell Simmons. She wanted to cut the line where he was signing autographs for his book. My boy was handling the line so I told him to let her in...I was the only person that know who she was. He was going to make her go to the end of a very long line. I'm don't even understand why she would show up to that type of event in the first place. I guess she was trying to hustle...maybe get her flirt on...but Russell had his new woman with him.
Snoop tells two of the guys on his staff that he wants them to plan a surprise wedding. He wants to renew his vows with Shante. They only have 2 days to plan a wedding. Snoop picks out a new ring with the help of Shante's sister. The guys from Snoop's team met with the wedding planners...the guys said the planners were creeping them out. But they looked liked crazy sitting in there doing the cake tasting. Why did they ask if the red velvet cake came in blue??
Shante thinks it's Charlie Wilson's anniversary event. Charlie brings Snoop up to say a few words. Snoop then asks Shante to remarry him on the spot. Each of their kids gave Shante a ring...I really loved that part in the ceremony. The R&B singing group GUY featuring Charlie Wilson (as lead) performed "Let's Chill" for the happy couple (Snoop cried...even gangta's cry). It was very sweet...after this I'm not sure if I can look at Snoop the same way. But in the back of my mind I was think about that other kid that claims to be his son.
Snoop is in the studio with producer Teddy Riley working on the new album. While he is working Shante is left at home entertaining his family. Shante decides she needs to do her own thing and start a clothing line. The clothing line is called CoCoRi (Co-Corde, Co-Cordell, Ri-Cori). I think it's very cute name. Snoop goes on the road to do some interviews and performances. Constance, Snoop's manager (the real manager), hooks up Shante with a distributer and a design team. They rent a warehouse space for CoCoRi. It must be nice to money to work with.
Snoop's team is busy getting will.i.am, DJ Quik and Soopafly for the album. Shante is making moves of her own at Industry Concepts to get the clothing line together. The kids pitch in to get the CoCoRi headquarters ready. By the time Snoop gets back in town...Shante has got her first designs in a store window in Beverly Hills. Dang...she made that look easy...too easy. Next week they renew their wedding vows.
There wasn't to much happening on this weeks episode...unless to count the number of times they showed Guitar Hero. Snoop takes the boys (Corde and Cordell) back to his old school and neighborhood to show them where he came from. The boys have a talk with Mr. Collins, Snoop's high school Vice-Principal. He tells them they need to get good grades in school. Snoop walks around the school reminiscing about his days at the school and when he first started talking to Shante. He even gives her a call to be sweet...it was very sweet.
After the visit to the school, Snoop takes the boys to see his cousins (Joe Cool and Daz). They tell stories about growing up with nothing. Cousin Joe Cool tells the boys, "Never ever hit the pipe. Never ever smoke crack. Never touch another man's dick. Never suck another man's dick. Never suck your own dick. Never Ever Ever." Well...I don't even know what to say after that. As they leave, Snoop signs some autographs for the kids in the neighborhood. When they get home...more product placement for Guitar Hero. Corde decides he should finish his homework and not play the video game. Next week Snoop takes the cameras to the studio.
Snoop and the kids learn to play hockey. Yes...Hockey!! Snoop is doing a movie called Black Ice about the first hockey team. Alex Thomas, comedian/actor, tells Snoop about hockey. Alex also shows off his skills on the ice. Yes...he knows hockey! Snoop takes the kids to a practice with the Mighty Ducks. It seemed like everyone enjoyed playing on the ice...even Snoop.
Cori decides she wants to be a singer. Shante calls up Keisha Cole (well...I guess a better singer wasn't available at the time) to help Cori with her singing. Keisha invited them to her video shoot. Snoop gives Cori some good advice about pursuing a singing as a career. It was a really nice moment...a real moment.
Snoop takes it back to the old school and they all go roller skating. I thought he had it easier on wheels...well...until he fell over a kid. Alex arranges for Snoop to meet Willie O'Ree the 1st Black NHL Hockey Player. He played hockey with one eye...that's crazy!! It was good to see that Snoop wanted to reach out to him for the movie. This episode had some good moments for use to see Snoop the DAD in action.
Snoop is having problems with his 9 dogs. Looks like the dogs are running the house. No one wants to pick up after the dogs. Snoop decided to get some professional help from a Dog Trainer.
Anthony decides he wants to be on the radio. Snoop tells him to put together a demo. Anthony gets his radio demo together and takes it to any radio stations he can find. He get a call to come to a radio station for a job as an on-air DJ. Once he gets there he finds out that it's a Spanish speaking station. The radio jocks had a good time making jokes in Spanish about Anthony. Of course he is wondering how he got the job...Snoop hooked it up for him. Funny Snoop!
OK...I put off watching this show as long as I could. I finally watched it today and I was very surprised. Snoop tried something new this week on his show. Everyone is in Germany with Snoop as he hosts an awards show...but it's Shante's birthday. They were having a hard time finding food they want to eat. The local favorites didn't hit the spot. Shante wanted real food for her birthday dinner. So it becomes Mission Impossible to give her a good birthday dinner.
Snoop gets on his trusty cell phone and calls Ted (Snoop's right hand man) and tells them to find the ingredients need for him to cook dinner. Then we follow him thru the streets of Germany asking people to make chicken sounds. Ted can't find what Snoop needs. I really find that hard to believe he couldn't find chicken wings. Well...Ted calls, Uncle Reo (one of Snoop uncles) to have him bring the stuff from New Jersey to Germany. Ted was going to put him on a commercial airline with raw chicken going into another country...not going to happen. It's for Snoop, where was the private jet?? Since Uncle Reo couldn't get on the plane, he called Uncle Nudi (another one), who is just happens to be stationed at a military air base in Germany.
Oh by the way there's a clock at the bottom of the screen reminding us how much time is left...very 24 of them. Uncle Nudi arrives at the hotel with a glowing case of secret ingredients. Shante was all dress up and looking great for her party. Finally, they surprise Shante at a German restaurant. But the big surprise was them bring out chicken wings and enough comfort food to feed an army. Mission Completed!!
This weeks episode was about Snoop's oldest son, Corde, getting advice on girls. Instead of letting Corde go to a party with a bunch of teenage girls, Snoop takes him to his video shoot. Corde gets bad advice from Anthony and Uncle Junebug. Those young girls better watch out for Uncle Junebug. During his talk with Corde, Uncle Junebug gives him advice on dancing and not to let "a woman pee in your face and call it sweet milk". Yeah...Sweet Milk...That must be some old school something from back in the day...Or he has been hanging around R. Kelly. Finally, Snoop comes in and had a talk with his son. He told him about when he meet his mom...but would not talk about SEX. I think the boy knows something about sex now...he better have that talk soon...before there are little puppies running around the house.
After the video shoot, Snoop and Shante have a nice dinner date. Where he turns the conversation to why she needs to get a job. Then he makes a comment about Kimora using Russell Simmons to get on...You know that's my girl. I wasn't feeling that. Damn Snoop...you better be glad Shante is still putting up with you...and not sitting in your house, not working, with your money...Her job is being your wife and mother to your kids.
This week Snoop takes his wife and daughter with him to New York for VH1's Hip Hop Honors. The boy's are at home...getting in to mischief. After watching this show I had more questions then anything.
What's the deal with Snoop's Assistant/Manager Kevin? He's more like an Assistant/Intern...he really needs to grow a pair. He can't even get in Snoop's room to wake him up to go to work. If I was Snoop...I would fire the person that didn't let him in. The boy's are left at home with Anthony - AKA Big Kid. Cordell and Corde decide to throw a party at the house. To get money for the party they raid Snoop's closet looking for money and outfits. They find $600.00 in cash...which they use for pizza. The pizza guy looked like a PA in my opinion.
The next day they take Snoop's Porche out for a joy ride in Hollywood. The car gets scratched (which gets bigger my the end of the show) and ends up being towed. Some how with no money they take a cab to go get the car. So you mean to tell me the one person in charge of the kids has NO MONEY, NO CREDIT CARDS...NOTHING??? Anyway, once they get there they find out it is going to cost $500.00 to get the car out...still no money. So they talk the guy in to letting them look in the car. But for some reason the car door is opened for them...who had the key?? If my car got towed, they wouldn't they have my keys. The guy at the impound agrees to take a pair of Snoop's slippers and a shirt as payment...yeah right. And who would let these kids drive off in a Porche???
I guess that's how it goes down in Hollywood.
David Beckman drops by to help Snoop teach the kids football/soccer. I thought that would be the best moment of the show…but it was just whatever. Snoop kicking the ball around and dancing. Most of the show was about Shante (Snoop’s wife) trying to keep unhealthy food away from Snoop. Shante surprises Snoop and David by showing up at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. She giving both of them a salad instead of the plate of fried chicken Snoop ordered.
Last night Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood premiered. The show starts with the housekeeper quiting...so the house is a mess and no one wants to clean up. Snoop has a doctor's appointment but when he gets there he doesn't want the doctor to take blood. So in true reality show fashion...she sends him to Yoga. When he goes back to the doctor's office...she sends him to get acupuncture. This was the best moment of the show. When Snoop gets there the guy is blind...yep a blind acupuncturist...Why a doctor would send someone that doesn't like needles to an acupuncturist is beyond me? Snoop gets out of the office so fast the cameraman is running trying to catch up. When he gets home...he ends up cleaning the house and finally the kids start to help.

Here are the rest of the clips from Snoop Dogg's appearance on One Life To Live. Well...the back story of Snoop and Llanview was that Bo gave him is big break in show business. Ok...I'll take that. It's not like Snoop is coming back anytime soon. He did do another song before leaving.
Snoop Dogg made his way to Llanview today. He performed at the character Adriana's (played by Melissa Fumero) bachelorette party. We haven't found out his connection to Llanview but the clips for tomorrow's episode show him talking to Bo. I guessed it would have something to do with Bo arresting him back in the day. I hope the writers put more thought into it then that. Let us know what you think about the remixed theme song by Snoop.
