Surprise...It's Melinda Doolittle

Melinda Doolittle, former American Idol contestant, performs "Never Felt This Way" at the Today Show wedding. She was the surprise singer at the wedding reception. Turns out that she is the cousin of the bride.

Good news for all those Melinda Doolittle fans...she has been in the studio and her album will be out this Fall.

WWE's Vince McMahon (photo from WWE.com) stops by the Today Show to talk about his weekly million dollar giveaway. He even brings out one of the winners. Nice touch Vince.

Personally, I would have made a great winner. I could have done my church lady dance with the drop to my knees and praise God...all with uncontrollable screaming. Call Me Vince!!

Chris Brown Fans Are Strong

There were a lot of concerts going on this morning in NYC. First I watched Ashanti, then I turned to watch Chris Brown. I think the crowd for Chris Brown was bigger. There is a part in the clip when Chris goes into the crowd and he has to stop singing because the crowd was grabbing him. His security guards have to come out and push the fans hands back. Those little girls are strong and have a good grip.

New Kids On The Block is Back!!

Many people braved the rain to see New Kids On The Block perform on The Today Show plaza. I just couldn't do it...people were out there last night at 10:30 PM so they could have their spots. I'm too old to be sleeping on the street and standing in the rain. Plus, where do you go to the bathroom when you do that?? I enjoyed the show from the comfort of my couch and TiVo. I giggled and sang along. I was very cute!

Just wanted to shout the the girl in the crowd wearing the black NKOTB painters hat with the neon logos. That was a great hat...someone cleaned out their closet!! After the show, I talked to my mom and she got rid of my NKOTB stuff. I had a lot of stuff...posters, pins and t-shirts. I could have made some good money off my Vintage NKOTB Collectibles. I Heart NKOTB!!!

Did I mention...I LOVE NKOTB!!

My heart beats fast, time stands still and the world seems like a better place to be. Ok...a little dramatic...but its New Kids On The Block. Love Them!! They will be at Macy's Herald Square in NYC for an appearance. This Friday, May 16th @ Macy's (34th street and Broadway) from 12pm - 1pm on the Main Floor in the Fragrance Arcade. I might pass out!! Mostly because they will be in the fragrance area. But I never got to meet them when I was younger.

If you are interested in meeting the guys, just be one of the first 150 customers (beginning at store opening) on May 16th to make an IZOD fragrance or menswear purchase and you will meet the guys, get their autographs and a copy of their new CD single, Summertime. You have to buy something so don't be acting surprised and holding up the line. It's suppose to rain on Friday...so be ready to stand in the rain.

Don't feel like fighting the crowds and the rain you can see them perform May 16th on The Today Show.

Ok...I may not want to stand outside in the rain but I'm still one of their biggest fans. I rocked the big buttons on my denim jacket back in the day. They have a new CD coming out and will be back on The Today Show to perform on May 16. I'm a little excited right now...if you can't tell. Check out the video of them on the Today Show. They are looking pretty good...gotta find those buttons!!
