Jem The Movie?

Is it true...a Jem Movie? It's been rumored for awhile that a movie about Jem and the Holograms was coming to the big screen. Hasbro has registered the domain names for what could be the possible sites. Hummmm....

We just wanted to let everyone know, thanks to Dragonielle for posting it on the JemCon.org message board, that Hasbro has officially registered JemMovie.com and JemAndTheHologramsMovie.com

The website domains were registered in February of 2008 and will remained registered until 2011. This along with the recent trademark updates to the Jem and Jem and the Holograms brands/trademarks/etc. could be a great sign that there is something JEM related in the work at Hasbro.

This post really put my mind into overdrive. This could be a dream come true or a nightmare for all true Jem fans. Should I be afraid...probably so. The Transformers movie was successful at the box office. But not all Transformer fans were happy with the latest version. I remember sitting in the theater and thinking...Why?? And the new live action G.I. Joe movie will be out in 2009. It looks like they are making a movie that fans can enjoy along with new toys for the kids. I just want to be able to see the action...not just hear stuff blowing up.

Oh God!! What are they going do to the Jem characters that we love so much? Who will they cast...movie stars, reality stars, pop singers? Will it be more for the fans or just for kids to buy dolls? Hopefully, there will be a way to please everyone. But the highlight of the all the Jem Movie talk, is that they might release a complete Jem Cartoon Box Set (and I want some really good packaging with more DVD extras). What do you think about a Jem and The Holograms Movie?
