Oh my god...this maybe the only time I wish I had CMT (Country Music TV). Gone Country is a new reality show that just started on CMT. The only reason I saw it is was because TV Land ran an episode this weekend.This show is a like watching Surreal Life mixed with Nashville Star (the country version of American Idol). The cast consist of Bobby Brown (New Edition...YES!!), Sisqó (Dru Hill...YES!!), Carnie Wilson (Wilson Phillips), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Diana DeGarmo (American Idol), Julio Iglesias Jr. (Singer) and Maureen McCormick (Brady Bunch).
They will be competing for a record contract and living in the same house. Along the way they will have some silly challenges to reflect country living that have nothing to do with recording an album. The winner of the show will make a country album produced by John Rich.
