Richard Is Finally A Top Chef

Richard Blais is now a Top Chef. Last night, Richard fulled his goal of redemption by taking home the title and received $200,000. Michael had an amazing night even if he didn't win. I just wish I could have some of the pepperoni sauce Gail was raving about. See what Richard had to say after the big win below.

Tonight is the season finale for Top Chef All-Stars (10/9c on Bravo). It's down to the final 2 chefs - Richard Blais and Michael Isabella. Richard has made it to the finals before and didn't take on the top prizes. You know he is going to pull out all the stops this time around. Michael is not going to go down without a fight. He was been on a winning streak and he is taking no prisoners. In the clip below, Richard and Michael find out they have a blind taste test to pick their teams. Always a twist!!

Top Chef D.C. Winner Kevin Sbraga

The winner of Top Chef D.C. is Kevin Sbraga. He is the first black person to win the popular competition show. This season did have more black people compared to past seasons. Which is a plus! Kevin definitely was the come back kid. I'm just glad he went into the finals ready to cook his food. And that is a winner in my book. It's so easy to let other people around you distract you during of the finals.

The final 3 chefs where Kevin, Ed and Angelo. I liked Ed and thought he would win...until he was making the dessert. That's when I started to get worried. My overall favorite on the show was Tiffany Derry. I'm glad she won some of the challenges.

Top Chef Chicago Winner Finally Opens Restaurant!

It's been a while since I've seen Stephanie Izard on tv, but all of Chicago has anticipated the opening of her new restaurant, Girl and the Goat. If you were a fan of her on Top Chef, book your reservations now. I'm sure this place is going to be packed for weeks. For those out-of-towners who manage to get tickets to the Oprah show will be pleased to know that isn't too far from HARPO studios. It makes for a good makeshift "as seen on TV" tour of Chicago.

Susur Lee is faced with another challenge that he isn't sure about...but he always comes up with something amazing. Marcus Samuelsson's body is wearing down on him.
