The true story of a correctional facility guard who changed the lives of teenage girl offenders by starting a track team.

Yaya DeCosta, the runner-up on America's Next Top Model cycle 3, plays the character Vanessa - who returns to a juvenile correctional facility for her connection to a murder committed by her boyfriend. Director Charles S. Dutton, most known from Roc, also plays the character Cleveland "Stack" Stackhouse the prison guard who creates the track program.
