A weekly live reality competition series from American Idol judge Randy Jackson and the creators of the USA and World Hip Hop Dance Championships. Mario Lopez (Saved By The Bell and Dancing With the Stars) will serve as host for the show. I would think MTV could have done better...oh well.

Dance crews from all over the country will rehearse and compete each week for the judges and the viewers will vote for their favorite crew. One crew will be eliminated each week --- to ultimately reveal the nation's best dance crew. Maybe this should have been the format for Dance Wars.

Judges:
JC Chasez (Mickey Mouse Club and pop group NSync)
Shane Sparks (judge on So You Think You Can Dance, which he also choreographs and was honored at the 2004 American Choreography Awards for best choreography in the film You Got Served)

One thing the judges have in common...they were both guest on MTV's The Wade Robson Project. Anyone remember that dance show??
