Making the Band 4 winners have chosen a group name - Day 26. The name is because they were picked to be in the band on August 26th. I guess it will grow on my like the name Danity Kane. You know that took a minute to remember.

The ladies are coming back with new episodes. Salt is loosing up and Pepa seems very happy. Looks like we might even see Spin popping in on an episode.
It was a sad day for me...Ricky has left the Runway. I know everyone is dogging his designs on the show...but he is so sweet...all soft and pink. I love him!! He is a friend in my head. (Shout out to Wendy Williams)
I was excited to see what the designers were going to do this week with the WWE Divas. Truly, it was the tackiest challenge this season...but it was suppose to be fun. Chris referred to it as stripper/tranny wear. I think that was a good description. I never even thought about Spandex House before...but I guess you have to get it somewhere. Chris also had made a statement that it should have been drag queens. I bet that would have really perked things up in the work room.
The real challenge was to make outfits that fit their clients in ring character. Before they even hit the runway I know who would have the best outfits. It was clear that the top 3 were Chris (Maria), Christian (Krystal) and Jillian (Michelle). I don't even know what Rami was think with that horrible pink outfit he made for Torrie. I felt really bad for Sweet P and Candice Michellebecause it was a mess from head to toe. Ricky's outfit for Layla looked like a swimsuit with a gold tent over it.
The guest judges were Heatherette (love them). The winner this week was Chris (this was a perfect runway for him). Maria will wear his design on a WWE show. I think she has already wore the top on one of the shows. It would have been nice if they would have done something in WWE magazine...maybe they will at some point. Sweet P and Ricky were in the bottom two...and Ricky got the auf wiedersehen. To come off the win from the Levi's challenge, then lose the next one is hard...I guess it was time. I saw the preview of Lipstick Jungle a few days ago. Thanks TiVo for the free download! I was almost ready to write this show off as a boot-leg "Sex and theCity."I'm glad I didn't. It was surprisingly good...a much better flow compared to Cashmere Mafia.
But I have the same problem with both shows...the theme of "women CAN'T have everything." I guess I should just stay broke and happy...

Okay, so after a brief overview of what took place between the close of season four and the opening of season 5, we're back in the present with the cast of One Tree Hill. With a little bit of a backdrop, we're able to see why Lucas and Peyton are no longer and why she's been such a bitch to poor Lindsey; why Haley and Nathan are a little distant and what's been up with Brooke.
Perhaps the most entertaining part of last night's episode was watching Peyton's reckless behavior. First she snaps at Haley about Lucas' new girl, Lindsey having around, which Lindsey overheard. Then she snaps at the bar owner and tries to "repay" him by making out in a car. She snaps at Lucas out of jealousy, then all but smacks Brooke's catty, controlling mother, Victoria in the face for insulting both she and Brooke. But let Lindsey tell it, if Peyton keeps it up, she's going to catch one, right in the lip.
Then there's the riff between the hot Carrie, the hot new nanny, and Haley over worn and weathered Nathan. With their relationship on shakey ground, bikinis and hot pants pose a threat to Haley...and for good reason.
All in all, nothing to rave about. Same old drama, same old place. Things will heat up next week though when Lindsey gets fed up with Lucas spending more and more time with Peyton, and he tried to simmer everyone down by convincing Brooke to get Peyton and Lindsey to be friends. Not a smart move, but we'll see how that works out next week...
Everyone is working hard on their albums but love is in the air. Robert and Q call D. Woodsto tell her they are coming over to pick up her and Dawn for dinner. Aubrey and D. Woods decided to look up Robert online (MySpace gets you every time). They see a pic of Robert with a girl...who he says is his ex-girlfriend June. Robert flips out and D wasn't going to let him talk to her that way. So they argued for a few hours. If it was me...it would have been over when he said, "Don't get yourself twisted baby...you not that big". Show over...he would have to get out of my room!! They never made it to dinner...but Q and Dawn did. They had a very romantic date...feeding each other dessert. How sweet.
The next day its back to work in the studio. Robert is the odd man out in the group. The guys are tired of Robert's diva moments (not wanting to sing background). Will is trying to get the guys together so they can talk to Robert about his attitude. Diddy pops in for a meeting with everyone. He wants to talk to the guys group alone. Instead of the guys talking to Robert in private...it all comes out in front of the boss. Diddy tells Robert that he is NOT the leader of the group and No Bitch-Assness is allowed at Bad Boy.
After all the drama from the week, the girl's take the guys to church. Yes...Church!! Pastor Hezekiah Walker's message was to leave all the negative stuff in last week. Q even caught the HolyGhost...I'm not playing...he was dance and shouting. Everyone bonded and re-connected. Cut to the studio...all the guys are getting along and recording like a group. Next week everyone battles for the same track.
Last night was country music night on Dance War. The teams opened the show with a routine that could have been on Hee-Haw. Well...the costumes could have been. Carrie Ann's team impressed me the least. It was just plain...no fire in either performance. It was like watching puppets spin around on the stage. It's not the kids fault...It's the coach's fault. Bruno's team performed "These Boots Are Made For Walking" injected with "Walk It Out"...Carrie Ann called it bitting. I call it waking me up for 30 seconds.
They introduced the newest Bachelor...MattGrant. He's a 27 year old, global financier from London. He didn't seem very interesting...but I'm sure someone was drooling. Bruno's team lost the vote again. So another member of his team had to go home. The bottom 2 were Tony and Zack. Tony was eliminated this week. If this keeps up Bruno will end up with a solo artist. The show was just too long...I was so bored. Next week is the cast of High School Musical (ABC = Disney) will perform. I guess that means Broadway Night...like we haven't had Broadway Night...every night of the show. Oh the joy!!
If you are a fan of Making the Band 4 (like me) you saw him on the first season trying to make the new all male singing group. Wait, if you saw the audition special for America's Best Dance Crewon MTV you may have seen him there...or on BET's 106 & Park with the dance crew Full Out.
His name is Chris Grant (AKA Kriyss Grant - on his MySpace page). When he was on Making the Band, he melted our hearts with his struggle to prove himself. He was the best dancer of all the contestants (now I know why), but his vocals weren't at the same level as some of the other guys. He was eliminated in the episode were the Old Guys went against the New Guys for spots in the house (I think that was the night when all guys bust out sing "End of The Road" after the elimination).
Unfortunately, Full Out was eliminated during the live audition for America's Best Dance Crew. They looked like they could be dancing for Janet Jackson...if she is looking for dancers...she should get them. Chris is still singing...he has new music on his MySpace page. He really has a Chris Brown thing going on...maybe thats why he's spelling his name different now. I'm sure we will see more of him in the future.

This is the commercial that stood out the most for me out of all the Super Bowl ads. It features HoustonTexans players Ephraim Salaam and teammate Chester Pitts telling their Super NFL story. This was a great story and I love how they told it. Great Commercial!!!
I was so sad not having Project Runway this week. But the commercial for next week has me very interested. I can't wait to see what the designers are going to do this time.
America voted and Aryn was sent home. The judges didn't agree but she was going to have a hard time anyway. She was having issues with her man back at home. Jay and Holly arrive back at the house to some surprised faces.
The models walk into a room of people sketching a nude model. Each model had to do a 10 minute nude pose. Surprisingly, no one objected to the nude posing. Stephanie and Perry were the stand out models. Back at the house, Ben and Ronnie discuss their relationship as friends.
The next photo assignment is a group shot were they have to work together. The split the teams into guys and girls. The guys pick Shannon to join the guys in their photo and the girls pick Perry for theirs. If the photographer didn't like the shot he could re-shoot the picture without the people that couldn't make the cut. The guys were up first...after the 1st picture - Jay and Casey get dumped. Then the girls were up...and no one was kicked out of the photo.
Next was body art...Stephanie wins the high heel ballet shoe walking contest to be the lead girl in a living art piece. Painted from head to toe the models become a work of art for an audience. This week the runway challenge was "fashion as sculptures". The winner of the runway was Stephanie.

Vinnie Resigns!! If you missed the 2-hour Celebrity Apprentice it was confusing to say the least. After winning $50,000.00 for his charity, Vinnie and the guys seem unstoppable. The next challenge is to create a receptacle for people to donate their old Crocs for recycling. The recycled shoes get turned into new shoes for people that need shoes around the world.
The project manager for the men's team was Piers. The guys were down one man because Tito had a fight. Trump suggests that Carol lead the women as project manager. When the team arrive at the location to work...they soon realize that their rooms are right next to each other. The men think the women are trying to listen in on their meeting. The men create a fake argument between Vinnie and Pier. Vinnie is then kicked out of the room to try and get info on what the women are doing.
Vinnie offers the women his help...all the time he was there to spy. Before leaving, Vinnie passes a note to the men's team with the info from the women's team. At this point Stephen didn't want anything to do with it. Vinnie is also having a change of heart and confesses to Marilu in the van. When it's time to check on the teams...Piers tells Ivanka about the spying plan and Vinnie tells Donald Jr. that he has become a double agent. Why are they telling anything?
Later, Piers makes a joke during the Carol's photo shoot about "sharing the love"...which happensto be the slogan for their campaign. Why would he rat Vinnie out? A move to get Vinnie fired. When the women find out Vinnie is a spy they fire him. Once he gets back to the men's team the real fighting begins and Vinnie is left with no team. In the boardroom, Vinnie is the odd man out standing up behind the team. The women end up winning the challenge even if they didn't want to admit that Vinnie helped. The big green Croc would have got my vote too. As project manager 10,000 pairs of shoes will be donated to people in Africa in Carol's name and $20,000.00 goes to the Tony Alt Memorial Foundation.
In a surprise move Vinnie resigns. Trump wants to talk about it first. For a moment Vinnie acted like he wanted to stay...but Trump accepts is resignation and doesn't fire him. The show ended much like the final episode of the Sopranos...the same music, strange guy lurking in the background and the screen went black. Funny I went to the Crocs site to check out the program (Wear A Pair, Share A Pair)...looks like they used a variation of the slogan the mens team came up with (Men's Team - Wear Them, Share Them).
After getting dissed by The Bachelor last season, DeAnna Pappasis coming back to ABC as the new Bachelorette. So take that Brad!!
Hopefully she will have better luck with her own show. The show is set to air in the summer. Any guys that think they can win DeAnna's heart can apply at http://thebachelor.warnerbros.com/.
