Javier Has 'The Voice'

Congratulations to Javier Colon (Team Adam Levine) for winning the first season of The Voice. He takes home a recoding contract and $100,000. This isn't his first record deal. Javier was signed to Capitol Records and released his debut album in 2003. He may have just been ahead of his time. America is ready for his unique talent. I hope he gets a little something from all those iTunes downloads.

The Voice had a couple people that America were familiar with like Frenchie Davis. Some people referred to them as ringers...OK maybe that was me. When the show first started my hubby recognized Javier. I know all those years of my hubby working a BET would come in handy.

Sneak Peek: The Voice

The Voice premieres Tuesday, April 26th 9/8c on NBC. The shows judges Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine seek America's next great singing superstar.

Thank goodness for clips...this one explains the set up of the show. So the judges at building teams of 8 singers. The auditions are blind (that's what's up with the spinning chairs) to pick the teams. If more than one judges turns around...the contestant gets to pick which team they want to be on. In the end America will vote for the winner.
