LeBron Goes To Miami - Don't Hate The Player

NBA MVP LeBron James announced his decision to play in Miami on ESPN last night. He will join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat. The money from all the advertising (and it was a lot of commercials) went to the Boys & Girls Club and scholarships for his non-profit. That was a great thing.

Now all the backlash has started. People are burning jerseys in the streets and one of the owners of the CAVS posted a ridicules letter on the teams website about James being a trader. If the CAVS really wanted him to stay...they should have stepped up and gave him what he needed to get him to stay. Or judging from that letter maybe there was too much bitchassness in the front office making it hard from him to stay. If they were really LeBron fans they would be happy for him. I think to many people got caught up with all the hype around the announcement. I hope LeBron gets that ring! Don't hate the PLAYER...Hate the GAME!!
