This week was the premiere of the new show WWE NXT. This show replaces ECW on the SYFY network on Tuesday nights. This is a new take the usual WWE shows. Rookie wrestlers are paired up with WWE Superstars to help them build their skills in the ring.Honestly, there is only one person I was interested in seeing in the ring. It's Rookie David Otunga AKA Punk from I Love New York and Jennifer Hudson's baby daddy. The Harvard graduate compares himself to The Rock, HHH and John Cena. David is teamed up with WWE Superstar R-Truth. Not really the superstar I would have liked to see him with...maybe MVP or my fave John Morrison. I think they would have been a better match since David has the A-List thing he is going with.
Hopefully the clip will stay up for a while....go to the 4:47 mark to see David introduce himself and win his first match against one of his fellow rookies. Good look for his first televised match.
