SYTYCD Top 10 perform
From this point on, its all in America's hands for SYTYCD. The show managed to fill another two hours with every dancer performing one partner routine, a solo, and an all girl & boy group routine. For me the stand our partner routines were Ade & Janette and Jason & Jeanine. I liked Ade and Janette because it was a Napoleon & Tabitha routine. They can't fail in my eyes. Ade is actually a good hip hop dancer. I was surprised because they haven't shown him do it until now. However Jason & Jeanine were clearly the couple to beat last night. Travis Wall came back as a choreographer and made a rather dramatic routine about young friends becoming lovers. It was pretty dope. Although *sips on the haterade* it wasn't a bird-meets-flower-routine, but Travis might give Wade a run for his money given a couple more chances on the show. Jokes aside, it was clear (and as Debbie Allen pointed out) that this was routine that people will look forward to seeing on tour.
Solo-wise I was most drawn to Ade and Evan. As for the girls, it's tough. None of them stand out which is a compliment to their skill but makes predictions amazingly difficult. I think Kupono was the weakest guy last night, but if that translates to Randi, we'll see tonight right? Set your DVR.
