Ego Trip's Miss Rap Supreme has come to an end. One lady is now sitting on her throne. The first ever Miss Rap Supreme is Rece Steele.
Well...this is how the final show went down. With the much hated Chiba out of the house, the remaining 3 ladies (Ms. Cherry, Rece Steele and Byata) only have a short time to celebrate. MC Serch and Yo-Yo let them know that the next challenge would eliminate one more person. The challenge was to write a battle rhyme dissing each other. Friendship was out the door. Surprise guest was Dr. Roxanne Shante to help them get ready to battle. I was waiting to see her...you can't have this show without her coming on!! She's a legend in the game!! I wish we could have seen more of her on the show.
At the end of the battle challenge it was Ms. Cherry that was told to step off. I was suprised...I really thought it would Ms. Cherry would make it to the final 2. Mostly because I thought Byata would choke when it came time to get at Rece. But it was Rece and Byata heading to the finals (both east coast rappers). The ladies have to write a 16 bar verse and a song (verse and chorus). On top of that they will be performing with a band in front of an audience. To help them out Serch brings in Will.i.Am. That's was nice gift. This was the first
For the final challenge, they brought in guest judges Mona Scott (Pres. Violator Management) and Missy Elliott. Both ladies did a great job...but Rece took home the $100,000. She was my pick to win. I think Ms. Cherry could do well with the right team behind her and Byata is ready-made to go international. Best of Luck to all the ladies!!
