Hollywood Wants To Challenge Music Artists

More and more we are seeing rappers and R&B singers making a transition from music to movies. One movie that is currently in production is "Cadillac Records." The story follows the turbulent lives of Chess Records co-founder Leonard Chess, played by Adrien Brody. The film is set in 1950's Chicago. It's just makes sense that recording artists get cast in this movie.

Beyonce is playing jazz singer Etta James in the new flick. At least in this movie Jennifer Hudson won't be around to out sing and act Beyonce again. I was wondering who James would have selected to portray her in the movie...
