Sprite Step Off -- on TV and approaching ATL!

Check it out -- I'm posted on a site that used to have print product! My day-job stalled on posting it so we took the post on the road. A friend and I went to the Central Region leg of the Sprite Step Off in Chicago a while back and had a blast. Ludacris brought the house down, while Wale... well... I love the album! I didn't realize that "All The Way Turnt Up" by Roscoe Dash ft. Soulja Boy was tha jam or that Trey Songz's "Say Aah" had certified banga status until that night. I also didn't realize that my post was relevant to this site until I discovered the Sprite Step Off mini-series airing on MTV2.

The reality/documentary is hosted (but they really mean narrated) by Ludacris and follows 3 fraternities & 3 Sororities in the Southwest (ex. Texas) and Southeast (ex. Florida & Georgia) regions on their path to win Nationals. Ultimately, it's like a 3 hour True Life episode-- annoyingly split up into parts. Of course there is a non-African-American sorority in the fold, so it's guaranteed to be hater-rific.

Much love to the event planners for the Sprite Step Off. They had their shit together! You can find the tour on twitter and the remaining regional competitions are selling out! Act quick to get your ticket for Nationals in Atlanta on February 20th! As for the TV show, tune into MTV2, Sundays at 3pm for new episodes. It's only one episode deep, so jump right in.

ABDC Season 5, The East Regionals

Let's get right to business.

Legendary Seven
was the first crew to perform, and surprisingly enough they are allowed to compete with 2 members from Status Quo. I always forget that crew's name when people ask me. Dressed in preppy pink... I just wasn't trying to have the whole phoenix-rising-from-the-ashes story line. It's too early to recycle crews. With that said, they weren't bad. Seven abandons Quo's grittiness for clean lines but kept the hyper energy & tricks. Already miles ahead of the Southern crews. Up next was Draztik who should get public speaking lessons. They are an all-choreo crew and had problems with showing passion which ultimately made them seem a slightly boring blend of Fanny Pak & Rhythm City. Blueprint Cru from Canada showed that they could do it all and put Draztik to SHAME by adding tuttin', b-boy, stunts, and wacking. I will say that Bluprint Cru will probably get J.C.'s favorite critique of being "pose-y." I'm actually surprised that he didn't say it-- Hell I'm saying it. They were posey with their transitions. Fix it!

Static Noyze came out to be Fanny Pak incarnate. They came as trained dancers with the balls to choose Jay-Z's On To The Next One as their main song. I usually cringe when I hear the word lyrical, but I love it on this show because it almost guarantees creativity when tackling the weekly challenges. I can't say I'm completely convinced they can bring it as hard as Fanny Pak did, but they have me wanting to find out. Omarion felt they didn't put enough soul into it but J.C. was quick to defend them. Saltare looked really cute with the jump ropes and didn't miss their timing. I'm not the biggest stunt/gimmick crew fan. It was cute, but I don't care. I don't want them taking a spot from a crew I would rather see on the show. Just as I typed that-- Saltare & Blueprint Cru made it into the next round.

The battle was a close call to me. Of course my heart went to Static Noyze but Legendary Seven simply out-tricked all of them. Luckily the judges chose Static Noyze. I assume there is no gay-ish crew to emerge out of the West. The cultural diversity of Canadians, jump ropes, and gays win out. Let's be honest, there are going to be other crews like Legendary Seven and Draztik coming out of the West. We'll find out next week!

Set Your TiVo: Celebrity Fit Club 7

Celebrity Fat Club is back for a new season...sorry...Celebrity Fit Club.

I was watching the promo for the show and just screamed. I was yelling "Who is that? She's so fat I can't recognize her." Then I realized she isn't a real celebrity. Come to find out it was Tanisha from Bad Girls Club. I never really got into that reality show but I did enjoy the clips they showed on The Soup. So I didn't feel to bad I didn't know who she was.

The cast includes: R&B singer Bobby Brown, former Baywatch babe Nicole Eggert, ex-Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, High School Musical’s Kaycee Stroh, Project Runway Season 1 winner Jay McCarroll, Bad Girls Club alum Tanisha Thomas, Kevin Federline and his ex Shar Jackson. Dr. Ian Smith and Harvey Walden will return to the panel with a new life coach: Rhonda Britten.

Check out the Celebrity Fit Club 7 premiere on Monday, Feb. 8 @ 9/8c on VH1.

Meet The Man Who Kept Kittie On Her Toes

From the first time he appeared on VH1's "Let's Talk About Pep," Markuann has been the talk of TV having his moment pulled shown on E!'s "The Soup" and the Style channel's "The Dish". The man who sucked Kittie's toes in the car has become tough competition for Frank The Entertainer who's also known for his share of foot-in-mouth antics.

Spoil The Ending spoke with Markuann about the infamous episode and who he is behind the camera.

Where are you from and how did you get on the show?

I grew up in Harlem and later moved to Far Rockaway, Queens When I was a teenager. I got a call from a friend of mine named Butter who told me the premise of the show and suggested that I go on the casting call. After the audition, the producers liked my energy and wanted me for the initial Pilot. I did a screen test for The VH1 heads after that, it was TV history.

How did you meet up with Kittie?

I met up with Kittie the exact same way you viewed it on Television. There was nothing planned before.

What were your thoughts when you were on the date with her?

I thought she was a very blunt and had a fiery personality. I knew she was fun but sharp with the tongue and that is exactly how she is! Kittie will tell you to go play in traffic in a minute but I'm the same way.

What made you want to suck her toes in the car?

It wasn't that I wanted to, you can blame it on the A-a-a-a-alcohol! it was a dual effort; she placed it on my mouth and Kittie does have a pretty feet. I got caught in the moment and the truth is I know people who have done way WORSEEEEEEEEEEEEEE than lickin' a toe for real and for free! LOL!

Did it really taste like meatloaf?

No more like Rib Eye Steak! LMAO just playing. No it didn't, I just have a habit of saying the most craziest stuff at times. When I was younger, I was in Church talking crazy. I would talk crazy at funerals and anywhere else. Nobody wanted to take me anywhere.

What are your thoughts on the last episode that aired?

Well, that was a fun date and I enjoyed myself. I think everyone should be more loose and not so uptight. Live life to the fullest. Big shout out to Myoko the Asian Pedicurist; that's my homie.

Would you say you have a foot fetish?

Not to that extreme but I do love pretty feet on a woman. And that was way before Boomerang. If your feet look like hooves or you have to wear Uggz in the shower NO BUENO! I don't have a fetish where I want you to stomp on GRAPES and Jump on my back.

How far do you see your relationship with Kittie going?

I mean, first and foremost, we have become friends and if nothing comes of it we will always be friends. She's like the Bonnie to my Clyde but I don't plan things. Time will tell.

What are your plans after the show wraps?

I have a few features I am auditioning for, some ad campaigns and some TV shows I'm developing. I'm just staying busy; you will definetly see more of me.

What kind of attention have you been getting since your appearance?

Mannnnnnnnn, after I saw myself on "Talk Soup" and "The Dish" on the Style Network as "Freak Of The Week", I was going through the airport and someone yelled out "I seeeeeee youuuuuu, I know what you did!" I've also been called "meatloaf" it's crazy. Shout to Big Tigger he was like, "Markuann I saw you!" LMAO

After your experience on the show, do you see yourself going on any other reality shows?

If the right offer was given and a tasteful a conversation can be had maybe, but I am really focused on my craft as a thespian. I just enjoy living life, making people laugh, cry and feel good as a whole.

What type of show would you prefer to be on?

A show that focuses on bringing people together in a real organic way that's fun. I want to bring the fun back to Romance and turn minutes into moments. Yea, I like the way that sounds, minutes into moments.

Millionaire Matchmaker 3 airs tonight (2/2/10) @ 10/9c on Bravo.

Ray J Finds Love Again

Congrats go out to Mz Berry the winner of For The Love of Ray J 2.

Mz Berry (real name Connie) has won Ray J's heart. Now we just have to see if they will make any public appearances after the reunion show airs. Probably not. Check out her interview on VH1 Blog.

It came down to Mz Berry and Platinum in what seemed to be the longest final eliminations ever. I wanted Mz Berry to win but this is just the relationship Ray needs to get a season 3. I don't think Ray J is ready to play daddy. The reunion show airs next Monday (2/8/10) @ 8/7c on VH1.

Potential Sperm Donor's for Jacque Reid

We have been following the new show "Let's Talk About Pep" on VH1. It is painfully obvious that Jacque needs help finding some sperm. So we have a few suggestions to help her get the baby she wants so desperately.

Potential Sperm Donor's for Jacque Reid

1. Lil Wayne: He doesn't mind giving up some sperm. He loves kids...especially his own. He is younger than Jacque...so when she dies he will be happy to let one of his other baby mama's raise the kid.

2. Jon Gosselin: He won't even notice another kid running around...mostly because he won't be there. She could do a trade with him - Ed Hardy shirts for sperm.

3. Tiger Woods: Well...she would have to get the sperm the old fashion way and actually sleep with him. Maybe he will give her a check to keep quiet or just sell the baby picture to a tabloid and get paid.

4. Kevin Federline: He's very familiar with getting women preggers. He is currently on the new season of Celebrity Fit Club on VH1...so it's kinda like he has a job. Plus, there isn't anything wrong with a man that has a little something extra to hold on to *more to love*.

5. Ray J: They are both on VH1. He has dated a number of women on TV. Why not get one pregnant on TV? Well on purpose. He doesn't mind getting with an old woman...Lil Kim, Whitney and there's room for Jacque.

Who do you think would be the best sperm donor? Tune in Monday nights @ 10:30PM ET/PT on VH1 to see if Jacque will get any closer to getting some sperm.
