Set Your TiVo - Rock of Love Bus (Ep. 5)

New episode of Rock of Love Bus airs Sunday, February 8 @ 9PM EST on VH1.

In the clip below, a couple of the girls are talking mess about my girl Natasha's voice. They are calling her a man...they are just jealous that if she was a man she would still have it going on more then them. Stop hating broke down Barbies.
The eight remaining girls get a distressing "wake-up call" when Bret brings in three new girls to join the tour because he's not feeling the emotional effort. In fact, one of the girls tells Bret that someone here is actually engaged! Bret has to sort out the truth from the rumors and decide which girl to eliminate from the tour.

Kimora Is Back!!

Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane (Model Behavior) airs Sunday, Feb. 8 @ 8/7c on Style.

I'm excited that there are new episodes of Kimora's show. I'm curious if we will see BJ on the show after being let go. He was definitely one of my favorites from the show. This week, Kimora designs a showroom while the girls take tennis lessons.

Black History Month: Storm

Did you forget it is Black History Month? We didn't. So I'm choosing to celebrate the (as far as I'm concerned) first great & popular Black female Superhero, Storm. Like all notable superheroes she has a complicated past. In some series/installments, she was born and raised in Harlem. Sometimes she is straight out of Africa, but let's not argue over nationality. She's easily one of the most powerful mutants to join the X-Men roster. She has even led the X-Men on occasion, and who can forget her battle with Callisto to become the leader of the Morlocks. Okay, maybe just me. I have never accepted any other fictional character that claims to control the weather. On some level, I believe that power belongs to Storm alone. NBC's Heroes doesn't have a weather-manipulator. Charmed didn't either. I believe there is a DC Comics villain with a weather-manipulating wand but he's a B-list villain at best. She practically has a monopoly on weather. The calm, wise, and sometimes celebrated Goddess, Storm has changed styles throughout the decades, but now more than ever she is an African Queen. Currently in the normal Marvel Universe, Storm is married to the Black Panther and they are ruling over part of Africa. Go 'head, Storm! Spoil The Ending salutes you.

To join in the celebration you can tune into tonight's episode of Wolverine and the X-Men on Nick Toons. If your cable package isn't that fat, then you can hope for a re-airing on Nickelodeon or simply watch it online at Nicktoon's official site. Tonight the X-Men aim to re-recuit Storm but find her possessed by the Shadow King.

Down to Five

Six crews were cut down to five on last night's episode of America's Best Dance Crew. This week the crews had to update whacked-out and outdated dance. Quest went first with the "pendulum" from New Kids On The Block's Right Stuff. It was a solid performance that highlighted Hok (funny!), Steve (whoa!), & Victor (wow!), but I wouldn't say it was better than last week's. The curse of going first is real. What can I say? Strikers All-Stars got down to one of the anthems from my childhood, 2 Legit by MC Hammer. Again the Strikers showed so much energy and commitment that overpowered the song in a great way. I think artists should take note and get them in music videos because they can make your song sound way better than it is. Beat Freaks had to do "the Carlton" to Pretty Fly For A White Guy. This could have been the rock song that Team Millennia deserved, but oh well. They easily surpassed my expectations because "the Carlton" is just the defintion of whack! However, they managed to infuse the move and the routine with some serious hip hop style -- more importantly their style. Also they made a JC prank and made him the "white guy."

Dynamic Edition just avoided the bottom two and performed Achy Breaky Heart. Why wasn't Miley in the crowd this week? This song seemed to put them back into a comfort zone, which definetly showed, but why did they let the camera see them fighting! This isn't Gossip Girl. We don't need to see your personal strife! I have to give them credit for making fun of themselves with the fainting reference at the end. Although in real talk, I doubt it will win them more votes. In the bottom, Ringmasters and Fly Khicks had to dance for survival. Ringmasters were cursed with the Macarana and actually pulled it off. Whomever thought to mix a Reggae vibe into the song is near genius. Fly Khicks performed to Jock Jams banga--Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now). You know you miss Jock Jams, don't lie! They had the scarfs like the lip-syncing chick in the video. They did the running man-roger rabbit hybrid dance all over the place. It was a strong performance, but I have to admit that the Ringmasters had more shock value in my opinion. Fly Khicks got the judges votes and the Ringmasters will continue to rep Brooklyn off the stage.

Youtube That Shit Awards go to Beat Freaks and Strikers All-Stars. Again those dudes force me into a tie. This time I feel that Beat Freaks got a real challenge and surpassed it, but Strikers are simply 2 Legit. I just can't deny their consistancy. They are the So Real Cru of this season. I've clearly banked on these two crews and Quest to take the top three. Next week is MAGIC week. F!@# illusions I want to see fireworks!

Trailer: He's Just Not That Into You

He's Just Not That Into You hits theaters February 6, 2009.

The movie is based on the book by the same title. You will probably remember it from that episode of Sex and The City. The casts seems a little over the top...almost distracting with all the stars they packed into it. But I like the scene that has Wilson Cruz in it (love him).
A woman who can't seem to get a grip on the men in her life pursues an advice columnist who never quite knew what he wanted in a relationship. The movie stars Wilson Cruz, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin.

Love For Only One Ikki

On A Double Shot of Love finale, both ikki twins kicked Rebekah to the curb. No love for the lesbian. Trevor got his pick between the twins. Both girls told him they were in love with him. I'm surprised he didn't pull a Bret Michaels and ask to keep them both. Anyway, he picked Vikki. Leaving Rikki heartbroken and alone.

Heroes -- Still Has Daddy Issues

Incase you didn't see the Season 4 premiere of Heroes last night, this is what you missed. Nathan is still an asshole with this illusion of doing God's work. Claire overheard his secret talks with Mama Petreli and ran off to save Matt the cop. Matt the cop is living with Daphne, but now he can draw the future thanks to a 2 minute warning from the dead African. Really? Advanced telepathy wasn't enough? Tracy was the first to be caught by Nathan's superpower police, and was soon followed by Mohinder, Hiro, Claire, Matt, and Peter. Mohinder was blindsided by the fact that Noah Bennett is now working for Nathan. Claire just has family strife all over the place. Nathan and Peter had a rather forced conversation about blame/redemption/one-last-chance-before-I-stab-you-in-the-back-again before Peter was caught. Sylar was the only one to get away from the police. I guess it helps to have 15 powers at once. Sylar is busy trying to find his biological dad who apparently was his adopted (-yet absent) father's brother.

All the captured superhumans were put on a plane to who knows where, but Nathan tried to spare Claire. Instead she escaped, and choose to sneak onto the plane. Dumbass! There she attempted to stealthly free everyone. She freed Peter, who we now know can copy (or steal) abilities by touch. After some struggle and Claire found out that Bennett was co-piloting the plane, Peter froze-shattered a whole wall which is causing the plane to crash! Whoops! So far the only "heroes" unaccounted for would be Ando and Daphne. Will they save the day? Probably not. I'm sure Sylar doesn't care at this point.

A Double Shot at Love Finale (Feb. 3)

Tonight is the finale for A Double Shot at Love. The Reunion show airs at 9/8c on MTV. Then the finale will start at 10/9c. Followed by the Aftershow airing at 11/10c.

I can't believe they are doing 2 1/2 hrs of this in one night.
The final 2 are Rebekah (the bartender) and Trevor (surfer). Like these relationships are really going to work...Whatever.

Top 3 Super Bowl XLIII Commercials

Here are my favorite commercials from the 2009 Super Bowl. I think it's interesting that 2 of my top 3 were ones for getting a new job. What were your favorite commercials?

Cash4Gold.com: Ed McMahon trades in his gold hip and MC Hammer his gold records and pants for cash.

At first I was like...they are wrong for taking advantage of Ed McMahon but when I saw MC Hammer it was funny. I was waiting for Gary Coleman to pop up.

Careerbuilders.com: It's time to find a new job.

After last years commercials, I wasn't sure they would top it but I really enjoyed this one. I felt really connected to the women screaming in the car and the guy crying at the bus stop.

Monster.com: Which end of the moose do you have? Need a new job?

I thought Monster did a great job with his one. It was simple and to the point. I know which end of the moose I usually have. (Hint: It's not the good end)
